Absolutely loved staying here. A real old world charm. We felt like a king and a queen when we checked into the Campbell Suite. Property is old but that’s part of its charm, it also has modern cons. I loved the shower so much I didn’t want to get out. Echuca itself is great and it’s an area we will probably return too. The only negative that we had was that when you check in you have to do it at the tavern across the road, unfortunately the person that we spoke to was a bit rude and unhelpful as there was an issue with our email. That being said when we phoned Carmen who runs the property she apologised and was lovely and even gave us a free drink at another tavern.

Beautiful heritage building, centrally-located between the old town and shopping precinct. You can easily walk from here to cafes, pubs, shops and the old port. Easy self check-in and check-out.

Nice place & convenient location . Bed was comfy & room is spacious. Everything is walkable from here. Only suggestion is curtains/blinds could be updated & bath/shower is small in large bathroom.

A very capacious room. Lovely old building. Great off street parking. Close to shopping area and nice eatery around the corner for a quick bite. A short walk to Port area. I would stay again. Note- the stairs are quite steep so if your mobility is a little impaired you might find the climb a bit difficult.

Clocktower Suites
The room was wonderful and roomy and well decorated. The only thing that I need to raise is the danger of the bathroom floor - my partner slipped on the shower floor - it was a shiny plastic and so so dangerous. The tiles in the bathroom were also extremely slippery - even when they were dry. Any water made walking on them very dangerous. They only other thing that was noticeable was the large windows were extremely full of cob-webs and dust..

Good afternoon Michael, We would love the opportunity to reply to your review. I can only assume your review is regarding the 100 cleaning fee you were charged, as per our conversation I've contacted and received evidence from our housekeeping team that you had smoked and damaged the flyscreen in the room.In particular cigarette butts in beer cans were discovered in the bin plus a piece of flyscreen on the floor that matched the hole. The room was perfectly fine when you checked in. We are a non smoking property as displayed inside every room and we have now had to close that particular room off for several days to tend to the flyscreen & cigarette smell. Quite disappointing to see you chose to leave this review, considering in our T&C's our standard fee for damage is 300.

The unit we stayed in had a deadlocked door and dodgy door handle which often took a couple of minutes to lock or unlock. This we considered a huge safety hazard as taking a couple of minutes to open the door could be the difference betwen life and death in a major emergency

Hi Michael,We apologise for the loose door handle, it has now been fixed and works as it should.The deadlocked door was actually the adjoining suite so it is only unlocked when guests choose to occupy both suites. A phone call to me would have explained that plus had a locksmith at the property immediately, thank you for bringing it to our attention.

The host Carman is an asset to the Clocktower suites. Really lovely and knowledgeable. The suites themselves are truelly magnificent and the location central to everything you could pissible want to do in Echuca. Throughly recommend the Clocktower suites.

We had such good time staying in this hotel. Carmen was so amazing, she went above and beyond to help us and ensure our holiday in Australia is smooth sailing. We will definitely come back to this awesome hotel and more time in this nice town. Highly recommend

Great location and very comfortable. Everything was excellent however note that the walls are paper thin so you can hear the guests in the next room very clearly.

Gorgeous old period building in the heart of Echuca. Room was very spacious (Tower Suite) with a separate dressing room and bathroom. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful with excellent communication pre-arrival. Great pub across the road for food as well.

We liked the location and the setting was lovely. The room itself was okay, a bit hard to hear due to high ceilings. There was no tap in the sitting room which was a bit inconvenient when making tea and coffees. Shower was disappointing with tiny head and not much pressure. Towels were a bit small. Overall nice but not fantastic value for money.

Owner was there to meet us, very helpful. Central location, very close to restaurants, cafes and the wharf. Lovely large rooms, probably needed minor attention. Have stayed there before and would stay again.

Great heritage building in the centre of town. Quiet and luxurious. Loved beinga able to run downstairs to the cafe for a morning coffee. Excellent instructions and greeting on arrival. Only downside was tv was in the bedroom not the lounge. Would definitely stay again

Give yourself a treat
Our host was so welcoming and friendly and it was a pleasure to be able to stay in such a historic building, right in the centre of town and a short stroll to the historic port area. Secure parking was a welcome bonus and the breakfast was delicious.

The host, Naomi, was very helpful and made sure I was comfortable for my stay. Full of useful information about the local attractions and restaurants in the area. Naomi prepared a fantastic breakfast and happily chatted with the guests.

Lovely stay in a heritage building
Naomi is a great host and the old post office is a gorgeous place to stay, right in the heart of Echuca. Our suite was quiet and comfortable and super clean. It was a bonus being able to pat Gypsy, the dog. Highly recommended.
