That is not at all consistent with our normal standards and will be brought up with our housekeeping team. Our apologies. The mattress is new as of a few months ago. We try to choose middle-of-the-road in terms of hard/soft to accommodate everyone's preferences. Overall, it was such a pleasure to host you! We're glad you got to hike in this beautiful area. We don't advertise a W/D in the condo, no photos of it, and it is not checked in the amenities section nor in the written description - so we are unsure why you felt the description was misleading. We do have coin laundry on every floor in the lodge, as well as in guest service centers throughout the property for guest use. I think a lot of people were hotter than normal in the heat wave we had that week, so we apologize that it was hotter than usual during your stay. There are two onsite restaurants which are convenient dining services for guests...The Mineshaft does not let non-members make reservations but if there is open seating you are more than welcome to sit and eat. The Basecamp restaurants does not have any member privileges so maybe it was just busy and there was a wait which is common in Durango in the summer due to high tourism numbers. The top plug in some outlets are controlled by a light switch, while the bottom plug is always live. I admit it is a strange set up, please always feel free to call us if you need help operating anything in the property and we are happy to help :) It was a pleasure to host you.

We had the carpets professionally cleaned on 8/19, but upon inspection after your review - we agree that one of the other guests must have trashed them since then and we have scheduled another professional clean on 10/7. We appreciate you bringing that to our attention. I apologize that you found the condo with some missed clean items. That is not consistent with our normal standards and we will bring it up with our housekeeping team to ensure it is no longer an issue moving forward with future guests. Please call us next time and we would have been happy to buy you new sheets, pillow cases, and towels.

We do recall speaking with you to let you know that the homeowners used to bring their dog up to the unit and hadn't in a couple of years. There are other condos in the Lodge where pets are allowed, so I apologize that you were highly sensitive to the dander. We just had the carpets cleaned inside the condo on 8/19. The owner took down those art pieces to make space for new ones that are being installed in October so I'm sorry the lack of them made it less cozy! :) Thank you for the heads up on the oven burner - we will certainly have our maintenance technician take a look at those for repair if possible. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you will come again! Afternoon lightening this time of year can get tricky with the outdoor pool and golf - but it usually doesn't last too long. And admittedly it has been tricky this year with scheduling the amenities to keep in line with the Covid capacity restrictions. In a normal year, appointments are not needed for the pool or fitness center.
