"We were among the first guests to rent this peaceful accommodation. The rooms are beautifully and elegantly furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped and nothing was missing. The centrepiece is the terrace with the refreshing pool and an outdoor shower with wonderful views of the nature and the mountains. "If you enjoy the outdoors, you will LOVE this cottage!! We wanted to experience Dominica and all its beauty and this property provided us more than we could have ever imagined. We woke up each morning to stunning views of the mountains and had coffee in the outdoor kitchen/living area. The location was also ideal to the local attractions and the city of Roseau. Ginette and her daughter Ari checked in daily to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone...

"Stayed here for 4 nights, the cabin is very interesting. It is in the lovely garden of the owners, a little bit outside of the main street in Calibishie, so better to have a car. The kitchen is great, bathroom also, however there is no airconditioning. The view is awesome from the hammock and terrace. The owners are very nice and friendly. Thanks!"

"This "cottage" is actually a suite in a resort; we had reserved "Liberty Suite Cottage #8", but were put in #7; the "kitchen" consisted of a very old, rusted out oven with a broken door (unusable), and a poor gas range (20 minutes to boil water); there was ONE pot and a kettle, NO other cooking supplies (cupboards were bare); the restaurant on the patio at the resort did not have any food to serve us after our arrival, as you need to let them know well in advance (OK, fair, but this was not...

"Stayed at Kootney Resort for the purpose of quarantine. Stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Apartment was very spacious, each bedroom had AC, lots of fruit trees on property plus a river near by. Overall very pleasant stay."

"The new owners were really friendly and full of local knowledge. So was Pascal the taxi driver they arranged to pick us up. But we were also given lots of privacy. The view is amazing from the studio cottage. It was well appointed and comfortable, had good wifi. It could use a memory foam for the bed though. The grounds were clean and the whole Calibishie area is safe. Dominicans are soooo friendly! "
