The hotel had a great urban industrial vibe situated in the heart of downtown Delray. We ate at the Asian restaurant, sat outside, which was perfect. The food was delicious, staff was on point and ambience was breathtaking. The rooms were clean, showers had good water pressure and the beds were comfortable. The windows/doors are sound proof, so you don’t hear a thing. We had coffee on the balcony then brunch in their cafe. After shopping, we hit the rooftop for happy hour, such a cool place!! We will be returning soon.

The design is stunning! The rooms are very nice and the transport to the beach works fantastic! The pool is too small though for the amount of guests, making it a nightmare to secure a spot

We have seen the Ray be build and open up over the last few years and when planning a quick weekend trip, I knew we had to stay there. I'm shocked that a new hotel is this broken. The first room we were in had issues with the thermostat connecting to the air unit, so the first night was hot, the second night was freezing. The 'engineer' went a handful of times to the room to try and fix it, and the solution was a space heater. The sink water came rushing out even when the tap was barely on. The 'privacy' and 'make up room' sign was electronic and the buttons didn't work. Half the light switches didn't work. They were able to move us to a second room, where the air worked normally. The sink water barely trickled out and some of the electric didn't work here as well. We were also on the 4th floor- and there is a DJ on the roof just above on Friday and Saturday every week. It's impossible to sleep before 1:30 am. There should have been warning about this because it's excessively loud. The staff did their best to try and remedy some of the issues and they were very kind. But for a brand new hotel run by Hilton, this was unacceptable.

I always enjoy staying at the Ray. It's a very cute property- convenient and well maintained and I was thankful that this year I wasn't woken by fire alarms in the middle of the night (which has happened during two previous stays). The only thing that continues to be challenging to navigate is the small but pretty pool area which is always packed. This year it was filled with small children splashing and screaming with their beach toys with little or no parental supervision. A bit of a drag for folks who want to relax with a bit of quiet down time- other than that, I enjoyed my time there!!

Great place to stay, very clean and the staff was great. Only issue I have is at $600 a night they shouldn’t charge you a resort fee of $45 per night on top of that! When I called to inquire they said that is for the pool, restaurants and gym amenities. That’s a joke!

The room was not clean. My feet were dirty after simply walking around in the room. No vanity mirror so no set place to get ready. Clearly not designed for women travelers. Kept same towels for four days!! It was clear one dirty towel was repurposed. I was not given a choice.

The service was impeccable. It has improved very significantly since we were here last time. Restaurants are excellent. Roof top pool is the best in Delray. Highly recommended.

Our room was just above the hotel/restaurant daily delivery location. Multiple trucks, including freezer trucks unloading and picking up for at least 3 hours every morning. Most idled for the entire time they were delivering, obnoxious fumes were constant from our large exterior deck as well as reverse alarms on and off. We were also located above the parking garage so there was constant traffic and noise. We were not able to enjoy the deck we paid extra for. And when I contacted the front desk they said they would have security look at it but nothing changed and the refrigeration trucks continued to idle for hours. If you book make sure your not on that side of the building and if so don’t expect any help to rectify the situation.

Cheap, new construction hotel. Save yourself $500 a night and just stay at a holiday inn. No difference in quality or cleanliness but at least your A/C will work. They brought in a plug-in unit which was loud and did just enough to keep my bed area cool, the rest of my room was 82 degrees based off what the thermostat read. Samantha at the front desk and the maintenance crew were helpful but the hotel itself sucks. Overpriced as hell for $800 a night. I overheard an older woman from down the hall had a similar experience while I was checking out so I wasn’t alone either.

Overall, our stay at the hotel was pleasant, with a nice property setting. However, upon arrival, we experienced a lack of assistance from the valet clerk who seemed preoccupied on his cell phone and didn't offer help with our baggage. The following day, the pool area was short-staffed, and there was no service for food and drinks, requiring us to go to the bar for orders and payment. Later that evening, at the pool deck restaurant, we waited for over 20 minutes without any service, prompting us to leave after attempting to order dessert. Improved service in these areas would enhance the overall guest experience.
