Hotel is clean just dated. Would prefer to be closer to downtown. Comparatively it was worth the cost of the room.

We enjoyed our stay! The hotel and room were very comfortable, clean, and convenient. If ever in Deadwood and looking for a really good value, stay here.

Hotel check in was done at the casino reward center and it was very easy and quick. Room was very comfortable, updated/decorated nicely and in a rustic South Dakota way. So nice to have coffee and fridge in the room. All staff interactions were friendly and pleasant. Restaurant on site had very good food although it is rather boring and plain looking. You have to walk through restaurant to get to hotel elevator….. kind of odd but required when you consider the building is tightly located between a mountain and a road. Casino was entertaining. Downtown shops/dining/casinos were easily walkable. Nice surprise to be offered free drinks at the casinos too!!!!

Pleasant surprise
When I told my wife the price I paid she rolled her eyes as it was going to be terrible. Just the opposite. Wonderful room. In fact we ate there also and it was less than some hotels just paying for the room

The room was quiet, very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Fluffy bath towels are always a bonus. The room also came with two complimentary bottles of water which was really nice on a hot day of traveling. Check in was a little odd because the hotel check-in desk is basically in the middle of a bar. The night that we stayed, there was a rodeo and very busy in the bar area, so it was really hard to hear the check in person. Also the parking lot was filled in with non-hotel guests so we had to park in a ramp which was fine, except that it was up a steep hill--or down a steep hill to get to the hotel. There was a golf cart shuttle service, but they were helping other guests and we didn't want to wait. The hotel restaurant was OK. It wasn't bad, just meh. Because the rodeo was in town, they offered a smaller menu. We had been looking forward to the prime rib which wasn't on the menu that night. That was disappointing. We never went to the casino at the hotel so I can't comment on that. Overall, a clean, comfortable place to stay the night in Deadwood.

Parking is non existing, does not have any gaming tables, room was clean but our room faced the highway so go little sleep. Will never stay there again.

We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay and had problems with parking. We try to provide enough guest parking with our 2 big parking lots plus covered parking garage. Unfortunately due to staffing issues we were unable to keep our table games open. We do hope that you will give us another chance in the future.
