Hello Ms. Hagel, We apologize for the state of the Hot tub, we strive to give out the best/cleanest service and that was not it. We did have someone come in and take a look at everything and we have a plan of attack to prevent this from happening again in the future. We hope you decide to give us a second chance if you find your self in the area again. Thank you.

Great staff, very friendly, good breakfast, had all I was looking for at a fair price. However, I do not like that Marriott still charges for full internet access through wifi...just wrap it in the price of the room, as this is why I typically stay at an IHG or other brand hotel on my trips...that said, this was a fine choice and enjoyed my stay
Th TV was not working in the room... called the front desk, and they acted like this happens all the time, and told me to unplug the TV and plug it back in. That did not work, called the front desk again and they came up and fiddle with it to get it to work... My thought is if they know that have problems with the TV, they should replace it, not expect the renter to do so... otherwise everything else was great... good breakfast.

Kurt,I apologize for the troubles with the TV. Unfortunately, this does happen a lot. The boxes are mandated by Marriott so we deal with them the best we can. However, we should have fixed it in the beginning instead of asking you to rectify the issue. I will speak with the staff regarding that event. Thank you for providing the feedback. Hotel is well maintained and clean, though just a bit dated and not as nice as the recent generation of Fairfield Inns. The room was pretty big, with an expansive view of field and farm. The furnishings were sized somewhat too small for that room, leaving some empty areas of wall space, which felt a little odd. Overall, a good choice given the limited options in Spearfish.

Easy to find and parking at location. Very clean and was quiet. They have adult rooms with grab bars and rooms for the hearing impaired.

The only two bad things about this property was that there weren’t enough parking spaces and air conditioning was poor…but the staff was great and made accommodations for us to park. Slept poor cause it’s gotta be cool! Otherwise excellent!

Hospitality was great!! Didn't care being locked out of our room because of dead battery on the door for almost an hour. Maintenance did great! But isn't there an easier way to open the door than the hook & line? :)
The ceilings and walls have absolutely zero sound dampening insulation and every step sounds like an explosion. Would not stay again! Front staff extremely unfriendly and unhelpful and check in felt as though it was an extreme inconvenience for the front staff.
The one highlight was the staff member working her butt of on her own to serve all hotel guests breakfast.
The facility was nice and clean, and the host was very pleasant. They pointed me towards a great eatery. Also the breakfast was perfect in the morning!
