Seriously, no free WiFi? This should be a given in today's environment.

Dallas Stay

Posted 15-Apr-2014
I have stayed at the Sheraton Suites on multiple occasions and it never disappoints. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff is always very friendly. The hotel is located very close to Love Field Airport and Downtown Dallas so it is very easy to go to and from all of the local Dallas attractions and nightlife. At a price of around $100 a night it's tough to beat considering its location

Good stay

Posted 14-Apr-2014
The overall stay was good, however we were placed in a room that I didn't book nor did it suit my family of 5. The hotel explained that it was the fault of the 3rd party website I booked with. Unfortunately the hotel was completely booked and we were cramped for a night

TERRIBLE ! Stay somewhere else! Motel 6 is better

Posted 14-Apr-2014
The room smelled old and musky.... The carpet had runners and waves. The floor plan was cramped in bedroom, we had to close the bedroom door to open the closed doors, or just get by to that side of the bed and balcony....living area had lots of open wasted space! Great view of downtown and all the trash dumpsters just below....

Perfect home base for Dallas visit

Posted 16-Mar-2014
For a short trip at the end of Spring Break the Sheraton was the perfect choice. One of only 2 hotels in the Market Center and downtown areas with an indoor pool, that was the deciding factor for us. Plus you don't even have to get on the highway to visit the Dallas Aquarium, Perot Museum, West End or Medieval Times. Same thing to get to the tollway to go to Dave & Busters and all the restaurants north of downtown. Breakfast is great, the pool is good, room configuration is nice, and location is great. On the flip side, the carpet in the room was worn, had a rip near the balcony door, water stain on ceiling, hallway and stairwell on 3rd floor smelled bad, and the toilet made an extremely loud shrieking noise when you flushed, which would literally wake the kids if flushed in the middle of the night. On Friday morning I asked the front desk if they could fix this, but nothing was done all day while we were gone. Strange, as it wasn't a hard fix, but, gee, I forgot to bring my tools along. Also, they only gave us 3 towels even though we registered 4 guest. Also strange, but fortunately the pool had plenty of towels so we grabbed an extra for kids bath time. All in all a good place to stay, but a little more worn out than when we stayed here a couple years ago. Maybe next time I will use my Starwood Rewards card and get a little better response to my requests.

Hotel close to downtown

Hotel was good. Only problem was the AC didn't work. But was cool enough outside that we opened the balcony door.

Nice hotel, minor issue with rooms reservation.

Posted 11-Mar-2014
Booked through Expedia, and had an issue with them only having one - 2 Queen Bed rooms available. Luckily it was OK as one in my party was young enough to sleep on a sleeper sofa. Other than that, and a guest that was smoking Mary Jane in a room next to me (My first room, they gladly moved me once I told them of the issue / smell). Other than that issue, which I understand is not something they pre-emotively take care of, the hotel was GREAT! Rooms were nicely maintained, clean, and I had no issues with them at all. Buffet was VERY good, and at a good price (At least I thought so) for a hotel (As they tend to be pricey). Would recommend it again if I had the option. But do wish I had seen that there is normally an $8 a night parking fee. Not huge, but I didn't see it when booking. Maybe I just missed it. Easy access to 35E freeway, which can take you toward Downtown Dallas or Fort Worth areas. Good value for the money, even with the parking fee's.
