For what I paid I guess it’s to be expected that the room smelled like stagnant ocean water and the bathroom smelled like sewer. The staff was absolutely nice and accommodating and I will say the room was clean no sand or anything when we checked in but I think the ac unit was what smelled like stagnant ocean water. Other than that the beds were ok but clean ( I always check for bed bugs). Overall not bad for the price.

The only issues we had was that the room had roaches and the neighbors where screaming at 5am which woke us up

Front desk woman was very nice. We areived late and she helped us right away. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and it was quiet during the night.

I noticed they were short staffed. Toilet would not flush correctly, no towels to dry off with, coffee maker with no pot, trash cans still had previous guests trash.

The rooms were not properly maintained. There was damage to the garbage disposal, walls, shower, and there was no smoke detector. When we informed maintenance staff they did not take it seriously. Manager threatened to have my spouse forcibly removed for respectfully requesting a refund. We tried 3 rooms and none of them were safe. We had to go above the manager to receive proper customer service and basic respect. Front staff understood but couldn't help. Will NEVER stay here again. It was an overall outrageous experience. Thank you to the manager that actually helped us.

So first off, I’d like to say the staff were nice. Beds were decent looking. But when I did a walk through of the hotel as I do any hotel, I found a previous guest “wash cloths”. Not just 1 but 2. You can tell the shower curtains are not changed. I found pink mold on the curtains. The walls in the rooms and bathrooms were just dirty and need a wipe. Thankfully I always bring my own cleaning supplies and wiped what I could down.

We enjoyed our stay at Captain’s Quarters Inn very much! It was basic and supplied all of our needs. The location was perfect to visit all of our favorite spots in Port A. The staff was very helpful and helped with everything we needed. We will consider staying here again in the future.

Pretty good overall. Would stay again.
The location of this hotel is awesome! And the price point is also very good and the management/service staff were so responsive and friendly! The rooms are clean and nice with some quirks. The bathroom smelled like poop when the upstairs rooms would shower and the tub made a gurgling sound. The walls and floors are thin so you hear everyone’s tv and conversations and every time they go to the bathroom. But again, great price. Good breakfast and great service with a convenient location.

Weekend With Pups
This was a weekend getaway with the husband and the pups. The staff was very accommodating toward our dogs. When the A/C was acting weird, they dropped everything to come and fix it. It was a very pleasant trip.
