Room was at the rear, bathroom in great condition, room less so, bed a bit bouncy, with the floor creamy and not level. Reception very pleasant, but dining space very limited. For some reason the hotel only uses a small bar for dining rather than the main dining room, consequently could not feed us in the evening. Sadly lack of space for breakfast left us next to an unfortunate noisy family so we didn't take breakfast either. However would happily stay there again.
Architecturally the hotel is elegant and in the days around the Titanic etc was probably prestigious. Faded glory. The views from rooms at the front must be great.
