Columbia Falls is a small town with limited amenities in town in winter but the surronding areas offers lots of beautiful scenery and terrain, access to skiing, snowmobiling snowshoeing etc. Good base for nearby activities.
Must eat at The Back Room. Best food and service.
Didn't explore the town too much. Very quiet main street on a Friday evening.
Most of the gas stations has casino and they give you free drinks(alcohol)as long as you play machine. My bf loves it haha. In Canada we don't have that plus we gotta pay for drinks.
Love the town. Whitefish is prettier, neat little building and streets. But Columbia Falls we prefer, friendlier people, more laid back, more natural setting. Closer to Glacier Park.
