Nice hotel. It has a sweet small bar area. Breakfast was ok but not worth the money. Allowing for late breakfasts, would clearly help as the restaurant area was overfull when we ate there. Coffee machine in the room was a pleasant plus. Bed was quite hard but not uncomfortable. Service was very good.

Good hotel
The hotel is lovely and the staff were great. The only issue is that our air conditioning didn't work so the room was very warm. The location is about 20 minute walk to the Dom, there were also restaurants and bars around the hotel area.

Overall, I really liked this hotel. It was clean, quiet, and the staff was accommodating. They even provided free drink coupons when you did not receive housekeeping services. That was a nice perk. The only issue I had was with pick up from ride share services. The drivers were unable to come pick us up from the front of the hotel because it was blocked off. The first driver just canceled because he didn't know how to get there. I eventually found out that there was an underground garage but it was too late by that point. I would still stay there again!

Room is large with comfort bed. Shower, however, water temperature sometimes is not stable. Location is great if you're driving, 5 mins away from highway entrance. Would recommend it.

The property an the whole experience was amazing and super positive. Beautiful room, perfectly clean, very convinent location, super friendly personell. The best part was the breakfast: there were gluten free options in single package (so no risk to be contaminated), there were 3 different kinds of vegan milk, and all the dishes had the allergens written next to them. A nice choice of food and teas. It is really suggested for someone with many allergies or diet restrictions.

We stayed for an extended weekend as a family of four to see the Christmas markets in Cologne. The rooms were satisfactory and the hotel reception and reception staff were all very friendly and professional. However, the cleaning service was definitely lacking. The floors were always a little grimy with water spots and dust in corners as if they hadn't been cleaned thoroughly, and the cleaners were quite insistent on ignoring the do not disturb signs on more than one occasion. Our teas and coffee pods were not consistently topped up. The thing that upset us the most was the fact that the cleaning staff didn't seem to take note of the eco-towel rules. We hung our towels up on the rail to indicate we wanted to reuse them each day, but when we arrived back in our rooms, we found they had been replaced with completely new towels. This happened every day. We dread to think how much bigger the washing and electricity consumption is as a result of the cleaning staff replacing all the towels in all the rooms on our floor, if not the hotel. Please address this with your staff!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was of a very high standard and the excellent customer service was really appreciated after our long train journey from England. Lars Henning on reception gave our family a very warm welcome. The small touches like the free sweets, fruit and water were very nice and the extensive breakfast was greatly enjoyed by us all. Clean, modern buidling super close to eveything. With a little luck you get a view of the cathedral. Welcome drinks, fruits, gummy bears at check in. I wish the windows would open but that is the only thing that was not perfect.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were helpful and kind, the rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is located near a beautiful park where one can walk or jog. The rooms are outfitted with a fridge, nespresso machine and water boiler, which I really appreciated.

Our stay at NH Collection Mediapark Köln will be one that will stay in our hearts forever more. Our stay exceeded our expectations by far. I advised the hotel prior to our stay that the occasion for our trip was a wedding anniversary. Issam Bouya, Guest Relations Manager was extremely kind to provide us with extras such as a room upgrade, breakfast, a cake, Prosecco and kölsch vouchers. These kind gestures went above and beyond. We felt as if we were on our honeymoon again!! He was so very helpful in providing details of real authentic German places to eat and drink. This was something which was very warmly received. Issam had such a friendly personality and a heart of gold. The hotel is immaculate and has a classy feel from the moment you walk through the door. The rooms have incredible views of the Cathedral and on a sunny morning it’s a delight to wake up to. The rooms are so spacious, they are fully equipped with everything you need and more! The hotel is just outside the main city which is perfect if you want to be away from the overcrowded streets. This hotel is truly a gem of a place and I would recommend it to everyone. All the staff was approachable, nice and professional. Our room: was light, spacious, clean with a great view on the cathedral We loved the breakfast, the selection is large, ex : 10 kind of juices, sparkling wine, lot of different types of breads,pastries and no queuing. Location: very central, 10 mns walk from the nearest metro, 10 mns walk from the city centre, quiet area ,away from the city trafic Spa: not the biggest spa I ever seen but still it was clean and we enjoyed it. Bar : cosy bar with good selections, and great deals
