Upon arrivzl the credit card machine wasnt working for payments. Got to the room and it wasnt clean. The front desk closed at 11 so no one to refer to. Havent gotten any return from my complaint made the next day with pictures to show. No information on compensation for the inconveniences. Had to ask for a receipt for my stay that was then sent by email after request.

The room was not cleanly the walls had holes in it when i entered. The staff was very nice over all. But the property have to upgrade their rooms and air conditioning

The property is being neglected. The landscaping is overgrown. Fresh paint needed pretty much every where. The lobby smells dirty, possibly moldy. I could see mold growth on the floor of my rooms shower. The room door did not any additional security locks. I went to turn the knob for the interior lock and if fell off. The room door wont close all the way unless you pull it shut. The furniture in the room was old and beat up. The bed was fine. The TV didn't really work, I could get maybe 3 channels to work out of ~50. The staff was good to us. The bellman promptly brought us to our building after check-in with a vehicle. Front desk was great when coordinating the taxi's needed for transport.

This property is still under renovation and the grounds are a mess, the facilities are not open and their is not even an option for breakfast.

Hotel room was big and clean but the distance from lobby to room can be far sometimes. The walk at night doesn’t have lights but never felt unsafe.

The property is completely under construction. Essentially abandoned with only a handful of other guests. Rooms needed repairs, shower handle falling off, lights burnt out. Dirty. At $500 per night I’d strongly suggest staying anywhere else.

There was no transportation to and from the hotel rooms to the main area. Was quite a long walk. The room reaked of clorox and there was hair all over the floor

The room was a good size (junior suite) and clean. The air conditioner worked well and the appliances were good. We did have to search for cleaning staff to obtain items such as coffee, tea, shampoo, dishwashing soap etc which were not always restocked each day. The cleaning staff was very friendly and helped when requested. We were not provided any updates on what was going on with respect to events at the property or in the area. The walk from the room to the parking lot was far, but they did have a bellhop who drove you to your room from the reception area if needed. The phone in the room did not work. If you stay here it is recommended to rent a car in order to get to beaches, shopping, etc. There is a a grocery store very close. It is a good walk without a car and if you are carrying groceries (especially water) you will need to take a break or two. Overall, the great weather was worth the minor inconvenices.

Nice plce
Very nice place, right on the harbor. Still a visible amount of storm damage not yet repaired but they are improving. Limited resturant availability nearby so have a car or boat.

Parking is very difficult, and not near rooms. We needed to get a porter (none were around) to help us. We had to transfer our luggage from our rental car to the porters car, then he drove us to our room which was on the 2nd floor (I requested 1st floor) and the elevator was broken. Thankfully we were only there one night. My mistake was booked thru Expedia, it would have been better had I contacted them directly. Mandarin restaurant was great, and our server Valarie was fantastic. Under construction too. I would not go back.

We were in St. Martin for a 4 day stay. The location was quite good for getting around to all the spots. The property itself felt empty. The fact that only 2 of the 4 advertised restaurants were open speaks to this. The room was spacious with an equipped kitchen, a good thing as the 2 restaurants do not open until 6 pm, so we were on our own for breakfast and lunches. I recommend Reveil Matin in Simpson Bay for breakfast. The tv was stuck remote was not working so we were not able to change channels, and the telephone in the room although appeared to be working, no one ever answered our calls. The rooms are FAR from the parking and main reception area, although we were told we could call for a shuttle there was no answer making it more hassle than it was worth, so we took the walk every time this was only inconvenient on the last day when we were leaving and had luggage. Overall the property is okay, it felt old, but the rooms were very spacious, nicely appointed, and had what we needed. I would probably look for something in Maho next time where we could walk to shops restarants and activities.

I had an issue with the phone since the first day I arrived, went to the front desk to tell them about it and they were sent to my room asap, I had to have them come over again because it still wasn’t working but the IT staff handled the situation with promptness and made me smile. My overall issue is with the front desk on the day and housekeeping . It was my birthday and the night staff told me the lobster house is closed but assured me other restaurants would be open for me have a bite. I walked all over and none were open. I went back to the front desk to get some directions to the open restaurant and she said she doesn’t know go check. I got so upset I just went back to the room and slept. I had to call housekeeping because nipple pasties and hair were stuck in the shower from another guest, housekeeping came took the pasties off and left didn’t clean the area or nothing. Dining in the night at the mandarin restaurant was awful they gave me a dirty cup and drink from and didn’t check up on me to resolve the issue so I just drank from the bottle. Overall I feel like because I was local I received this treatment which doesn’t feel great, I also never wanted to be typecast so I just paid and left . The only good about the property was the night front desk agent, IT and the staff at mélange . There was no one to tell my problems to and no one cared. Very disappointed.

We got a excellent service of the driver of the hotel, he went withbus to a place where we bought breakfast because the resort restaurant was closed. Front desk was very kind, a spacious executive room and clean. The microwave was not working. I love to walk so the walking distance was perfect. This is my 3rd time at the resort, It was worth it

Room was as advertised. Great view of the lagoon and Simpson Bay area. Bathroom was a bit inconvenient as the door only opened a quarter way before hitting the wash basin. Really long distance walking between the parking area and the room. Very sketchy walking at night as there is very little lighting. Front desk rarely answered when requesting pickup from the room. Overall the hotel needs major renovations and improvements to return to what it once was.

The view of the marina is amazing, the food at The Lobster house great. Other than that, in our first room there was no hot water, mold, mildew, Ac remote not working. We got moved and upgraded. Second room was better, but the AC in the room didnt work and parts fell off the door. The walk from the parking lot to the room is too long, especially with kids. However, there is a bellman available at times to take you. If you love boats i'd stay for the view. Otherwise, find a next hotel.

I imagine this property used to be THE place to stay with the casino and restaurants but it is not close to anything else. A taxi ride to anywhere is $20 each way. They have remodeled but in a cheap way as the air conditioner failed to work and we had to call maintenance daily to reset, door hinges were loose, shower leaked on its own, smoke detector down the hall chirped for a week, golf cart shuttle was not working. Also restaurants do not take cards so you had to get cash.

The value for the money was excellent. The location was impeccable. Despite being there for less than 24hrs, wasn't able to look all over the place. The property was nice and well kept, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast service was very good. Shak, my morning server @ The Lobster House during breakfast was very friendly, attentive and very helpful. The room complex I stayed, seems under renovations and still very clean. The internet wasn't working on the room. But all amenities were in great working order. except a small design flaw, in the bathroom the entrance door should be installed in rails and would be opening sliding, avoiding hitting cabinet and easing the pass to the toilet area.

Decent property, room was nice, a little out of the way from parking, however room was clean, unfortunately no hot water in room when we arrived, which made for a cold shower for the wife. A call to front desk and a friendly service attendant changed the hot water unit rather quickly. The evening was very loud, and my spouse had a rough time falling asleep. No blankets on bed which wasn't a problem for me, but wife like to be under the covers and all there was on the bed was a single sheet. Deadbolt missing so unable to lock room. I also felt the front desk couldn't have been a little more friendly for check-in.
