Really outdated hotel

Posted 12-Dec-2014
Pros: Hotel staff is very pleasant and professional but they are limited in what they can do. Location close to Pacific Highway.
Cons: Hotel needs a major renovation, and the rooms need to be redesigned.
Location: Restaurants in Coffs Harbor are good.
The hotel looks like it must have been a very nice place, but long time ago. The interior, foyer, and the room we were put in are rather outdated. Everything smells like molds due to an extreme humidity and the aircondition rather not suitable for the location. Towels are made of a fabric that does not absorb water, so washing yourself gives you an 'interesting' experience. The TV in the room is placed in a spot that you cannot watch it, and the free wireless internet is so slow that one cannot even check emails.

One night stop off en route to Sydney

Posted 25-Nov-2014
Pros: Close to the freeway
Cons: Decor and new beds
The photos advertising the hotel were very complimentary. The hotel was very dated and in need of refurbishment. Decor and furniture trapped in the 80s. Very surprised that this still has 4 star rating.

Nice hotel close to Coffs

Posted 23-Nov-2014
Lovely staff and hotel, unfortunately the mattress was missing a wheel and we had to prop it up with the telephone book, furniture was a bit older then I expected. Bar and restaurant was lovely, and the view from the main reception area was lovely. Carpark view from the deluxe resort room. Good selection of food for the buffet breakfast. Peaceful area away from the main hustle of coffs, trees line the driveway as you enter the hotel, lovely.

Not quite what I expected.

Posted 21-Nov-2014
Pros: Breakfast buffet was good. Staff were understanding and helpful when I had a family emergency.
Cons: A little run down. Missing pool tiles, bird poo on windows, rotten work on pool deck. Air-con in rooms barely working. Decor outdated and worn.
Location: Coffs Harbour beaches are nice.
Disappointing. Wasn't what we expected from a 4 star resort experience.

Hotel in need of TLC!

Posted 13-Nov-2014
Pros: Cleanliness & friendly staff
Cons: Facilities needing to come intp 21st Century
Location: Short 5 min walk to beach, BIG Banana close by.
This hotel is past its prime---rooms are dated BUT clean. Water slide & pool needing some updating. Games room for kids NOT operational---Menu is restaurant pricey with NOT a lot of choices for kids---mostly FRIED food--needing a re-vamp. WE would stay again BUT just needing some TLC!

Perfect Coffs harbour location

Posted 10-Nov-2014
Pros: The pool and gym facilities, evening restaurant menu is lovely, good breakfast buffet
Cons: Facilities out of season
Location: Go to the beach at the bottom of the hotel and do coast walk- stunning to chill out on, but there are rip tides so wouldn't recommend for youngsters
This is a great hotel for a holiday or business trip to Coffs Harbour. It has a stunning location and the rooms are well kept and comfortable. Hotel staff were responsive and friendly too. We took a peek at the conference rooms too and they look great. On the down side - Hot food at the breakfast buffet gets over heated and dry after 9:15... get there earlier if you like your eggs & beans! A lot of facilities are only available in Australia's 'holiday season'. As a UK resident I have no idea when that is, so had a disappointed child - the Mini golf was closed during our stay despite being advertised as open - even in the hotel. Pool bar also closed, no concierge service and the only two PC internet points were broken. Thankfully we had our own PCs and wifi is free throughout hotel complex - with a good signal.

Nice hotel that pretty much has everything.

Posted 28-Oct-2014
Pros: Close to the beach and had a range of activities on site. Nice pool area. Nice helpful staff that also had a sense of humour. Great price too!
Cons: Some activities were closed during the times they were supposed to be open - golf, day spa etc.
Location: Great location - walking distance to the beach. Shops and other activities also close by, 2-5 minute drive.
2 night weekend break just relaxing in the spa, by the pool and the beach. Great hotel for this and very happy I stayed at this hotel for my stay in Coffs.

Nice hotel right on the seaside!

It was great. Would definitely recommend. I will be returning on my next visit to coffs. Great pool area, really well equipped for children and school holidays.
