This hotel is lovely and has such cosy vibe. You can definitely get away, drink a nice cocktail and relax by one of the many log burners. The evening meal is nice enough, breakfast was lovely.
This place has so much potential but it’s extremely noisy in the rooms. Ours had a connecting door and noise ruined the entire trip. In the evening it was noisy above us with people moving the room around until past 11pm. It’s dog friendly but everyone has a dog there, so one barks and sets the rest off. We were then woken by the adjoining room with their dog barking at 4 am and the doors, extractor fan blowing as they were clearly awake. So what was meant to be a relaxing reset, meant we were left extremely tired after a ridiculous wake up.
