It is good & satisfactory, but NOT as good as 5 star. Reception & kitchen staff are excellent. B.F. very good. I recoment to stay.

Good location, little noisy!
Nice hotel, rooms very spacious. Reception staff very helpful, and location of hotel is great. It is a little dated, and my only other note would be to request a room facing the back as it’s quite noisy facing the front of the hotel.

Wangburapa is my first choice everytime I travel to Old City. The staff are so friendly and helpful. If there is an issue with a room, they accomodate and resolve speedily.

Horrible place to stay at I wouldn't receive to my enemies. There are no amenities... not even a washcloth. When i called the front desk for the wifi code she told me she was too busy and hung up the phone. I turned out the old lamp and it didnt work. The best thing was the hot water machineamenities not even a wash loth

Staff good and hotel is clean and situated in good place to see attractions. Only negative point was our room. Although Expedia when I booked it said it was a family room it only had 2 single beds for 3 adults

Staff were great and ideal spot for visiting Chiang Mai. Room only had 2 single beds and we were 3 adults. When booked it was confusing that's why we ended up in a room for only 2 adults.

Disappointing stay
Although expectations should be tempered for a budget hotel like this, I was surprised at how bad the state of my room was. Upon arrival the toilet was clearly not cleaned, because after the room had been made up the following day the toilet's appearance completely changed from a dark brown hue to white. During the first night I also found a cockroach in the shower - evidently there was little to no effort in cleaning the bathroom before my arrival. To make matters worse, the A/C unit was completely ineffective (I had the cool setting to the max at 17 degrees Celsius and it felt like 30 degrees). Very disappointing even considering the low price - I will most definitely not be staying here the next time I'm in Chiang Mai.

Black mold in my shower. Lazy housekeeping, wont use bleach to clean grout which was black from mold. Beds were hard as rocks, the floor would have been softer. Breakfast buffet was exactly the same boring food each morning. Not really good. Walls are very thin, despite no smoking signs everywhere, guests were all smoking in rooms which stank. Not hotels fault. People were always talking loudly in the hallways, a lot of loud Asian guests stay here. Only plus is good location.

A good spot in Chiang Mai
The location of the hotel is good, close to the city centre, several temples and the night market. Rooms are tidy but the furniture a bit outdated but may be is only my liking, I love a bit or modern. Checkin was easy and fast and staff was quite friendly.

Too much of a business hotel for my taste. The guy at the reception was not welcoming at all, kept watching cartoons on the computer. The kids pool was too deep for my 2-year-old. There is no garden or other play area for children. The hand soap made my hands peel off. Otherwise, clean, in a good shape, good location and good breakfast.

The hotel was quiet. The room was spacious and I love the bed. It wasn't hard as some reviews commented. The travel agent at the hotel was very pleasant and helpful.We booked his service for 2 days and he sent us to the airport without charging us. I would definitely stay here in the future.

bad for power shutdown in the room.
The room all power was shut down in the middnight until claim to the front desk in the morning. There was very hot without air condondithionaer and lightings in the darkness, includes the no battery charges for electlical devices in the room at all.

The hotel is a bit dated - but it is clean and adequate - the pool area is small - but the water is crystal clear. The rooms are large and serviced every day. This is my second stay. It's location is good - only a short 150baht taxi ride from the airport (fixed price).If you use the Red open backed taxi's the fare is only 30 baht anywhere around the city - and they will pick you up and drop you off anywhere. Also only a 15 minute walk to the night market and some local temple's.There's also a good bar just 2 minutes away. It's not the Ritz - but it's clean - comfortable - and the price is good. I would happily stay here if I come back to Chiang Mai

Large hotel with pretty big rooms and a pool. Staff was friendly but didn’t speak great English so there were some challenges there but they did the best they could. The man who booked excursions was awesome and very helpful/honest. Room was large and clean. Bathroom had some draining issues and smells but not unbearable at all. Good location and easy walk to the Wall and city center. On the more quite side of the Wall which was perfect tor us
