Charming weekend retreat
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel nestled amidst the picturesque vineyards near Lausanne and Montreux. The setting is truly idyllic, offering stunning views that take your breath away.
The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making the stay all the more enjoyable. Breakfasts overlooking the serene lake were a highlight, providing a tranquil start to each day.
As you drive up, you’re met with the delightful company of chickens and goats, adding a touch of rural charm to the experience. It’s a heartwarming sight that sets the tone for a relaxing stay.
The hotel’s location is a dream for wine enthusiasts, surrounded by numerous vineyards to explore. The easy access to both Lausanne and Montreux made day trips a breeze, offering a taste of city life amidst the serene countryside.
One minor point of improvement would be the pillows, which were a bit on the uncomfortable side. Having a few extra options would greatly enhance the sleeping experience.
