I booked a room for my elderly, disabled mother, who needed some respite. She was rudely told she can't have the room because she didn't have the card with her. I am her Power of Attorney because she cannot tend to a lot of her personal affairs anymore; not only that, but the reservation had my phone number in the event the hotel had issues. I was not called. She had to drive back over a mountain road, in the dark, through snow flurries. If the gentleman had not been so intent on denying her access and just picked up the phone to call me this could have been avoided. Very disappointed

This is an older motel that was clean, comfortable and allowed our dog. The door didn’t seal well so the cold air was coming in. We added an extra blanket and we’re fine. The owner couldn’t fix the door immediately and offered to switch rooms. We declined as it was warming up. I would stay there again.

You had to leave dirty towels outside the door in order to get clean ones left. Trash cans were never emptied. Had to ask for bathroom supplies.

Motel is older, we asked for and received an updated room. Bathroom was very tiny and shower head was too low. However, room was very clean - Staff was personable and helpful. Lobby was not very welcoming- but maybe they are in process of redoing??

Super Cute Maggie Valley Motel
Totally cute motel that we have stayed at before and will totally stay at again! Super clean, remodeled, they allowed our lab and we’re friendly. ONLY negative I have is the pillows were horrible, but simple fix… bring your own!

Very pleasant staff, their children were around but kind and respectful to guest. I like the family atmosphere. Someone has a green thumb they had the prettiest flower garden that welcomes you at the office. Not super updated but clean and comfortable. We'll return.

I was happy to get a room. I had all I needed. The only issue was people smoked outside my room and the fumes came in through cracks in the door. Small insects were also drawn to the light and flew in through cracks and when door was opened as the light was close to my door. Room 215 if I remember right. Thank you.

Horrible! The hotel has no front desk. Kinda creepy. I reserved through hotels .com and the pics were not accurate from the room I was given. Also the room had no thermostat and was hot. We couldn’t control the AC. We checked in and left to our house an hour later cause there’s no way we could of stayed there. Oh and the TV wasn’t working!
