As you make your way along the winery’s long driveway, you’ll pass rows and rows of beautifully kept vines. Admire the trellised hedges, heavy with red and green grapes ready for harvest in the fall. Reach the winery’s charming main building and step inside. The tasting room is decorated with antique wine barrels and intriguing carved-wood sculptures. Chat with a staff member and find out what events are scheduled at the winery during your visit.
Join a guided tasting and learn about the winery’s endeavors to combine traditional flavors with artisanal experimentation. You might try familiar white varieties, such as chardonnay, pinot grigio or sauvignon blanc. Delve into new taste territories and try malvasia and ribolla gialla, among others. In the reds, Channing Daughters Winery offers merlot and cabernet sauvignon, as well as syrah, refosco and lagrein. Channing Daughters Winery is located on Bridgehampton’s northern border. It is a 5-minute drive from Bridgehampton Village and parking is available on site. The winery is open daily.
