Beautiful property situated away from the hotel zone. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing and we didn’t have to fight over pool chairs. The staff was excellent and catered to our every need.

The property is beautiful and well appointed. I like that it doesn't feel too big and the pool is very relaxing. The spa and gym amenities are fantastic. The staff is so friendly. The rooms are gorgeous and well laid out. 10/10

Beautiful property with excellent service. Stayed in a suite which had lots of space. There’s one set of elevators for guests so it was a long walk as our room was at the end of the property. Poolside service was the best. Food and drink prices were very high but I guess that’s the case for most high end properties.

The Waldorf Astoria made our first visit to Cancun one to never forget. I booked this hotel because I wanted to have a great experience and share it with my girlfriend. Needless to say, we did not expect the property to deliver beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by incredible courteous staff that welcomed us and provided a seamless check-in experience. We were offered a courtesy drink while we waited to be checked in, we got a fantastic guava drink. Then we were given a small tour around the property before being escorted to our room. The room was spotless, it was spacious with a beautiful ocean view and a small jacuzzi that had direct access from and to the shower. We tried most of the restaurants in the hotel and even the spa. The food was delicious, and all the staff who assisted us were very professional and friendly. I wish I could mention every single person but special thanks to Dimitri, Omar, Abraham, Andrea, and all the spa attendants and technicians. We will come back.

First let me start by saying the resort is absolutely gorgeous, secondly, the staff is like none other as the hotel lives up to their reputation. The restaurants were absolutely delicious and we did not have one bad meal. Now that being said, this hotel is not a party hotel and they lacked night entertainment. If you’re looking to party this is not the hotel for you. If you are newly married or looking for a private resort away from everything then this is the place for you. Asides of not having entertainment it was hard to get an Uber as the hotel pushed their taxi services. It cost 65$ one way to leave anywhere. Prebook your Ubers ahead of time. The resort is about 30 min away from downtown Cancun. So, if you’re looking for privacy and fine dining in a beautiful resort with top tier service this is the hotel for you. I would 💯 return. It is a lil pricey as dinners were 300$ but worth it. This hotel lives up to their reputation just know there is no night entertainment and you’re 30 min away from any action.

This place is the definition of class quality and attentiveness!!! They ALL KNOW YOUR NAME. All workers staff front desk personal concierge it’s amazing. Yes Waldorf is expensive but you pay for what you get. You want to be taken care of then you need this place. The pools the beach the privateness of everything the custom service the non stop calling and checking in on you and meeting your needs is unbelievable. The valet, the lobby the stores the food everything is exceptional.

The hotel was gorgeous and new. The hallways smelled like heaven and all communal areas were spot less. Keep in mind it is not all inclusive. There is not much to do in the evening for entertainment. They did have cooking or mixology classes you can sign up for around $124-150. It was pretty empty during my stay. I honestly dont understand why this resort isn't adults only. There is nothing for kids to do other than use the pool. There is no playground, waterslide, kids club activities...so why bring kids here? I would be so bored lol. One night they did show Moana. The rooms are really niceplunge pool/jacuzzi is a nice touch if you can get it to work. The food on the restaurant menu's were not the interesting or appealing. I ate at Ja'o one night and it was average. I'm pretty sure the rice I had was the cheap parboiled rice. The service from everyone I met was 10/10. Room service meals were superior. I don’t recommend this resort for solo travelers. It was pretty boring. But if you just want to sit in your room or by the pool...this is the place for anyone searching for that kind of stay. The beach is filled with seaweed but the kept the sand well groomed. It was also very quiet at the resort. I was by myself most times except maybe for a married couple or small family with their kids around every now and then. I appreciate the nightly "turn down" service for the rooms. A lot of Luxury places don’t offer this anymore. Would I book again, no. But thankful for the experience.

Beautiful lobby. Amazing room. Pool is nice. Not a ton of food options (food was average. Pool menu was very limited) and pretty far away from any food locations outside the hotel. Beach is below average (in my opinion). Every employee was very welcoming and service was great.

The property itself is very nice. The rooms are excellent (including views) and the soaking tub is a nice perk. The pools and the area surrounding the pools are probably the highlight of the resort. Service was excellent most of the time but it was also somewhat hit or miss at the same time. The thing we liked least about our stay was the lack of dining options and the overpriced food in general. Spending $350 per day to eat the same things over and over (two parents two children) was not ideal. Nice for a long weekend but if you're spending 4-7 nights, it can get really repetitive.

El hotel está muy lindo. Buen nivel. Buen servicio. Pero está alejado, y tienen pocas opciones de transporte. el transporte es caro. Los taxis que asisten al hotel son viejos y en mal estado. Pero seguros.
