“Impressed! Calm and relaxing experience in Cancun.”
Inform the hotel if the trip is your honeymoon. You will get some special benefits (one special romantic dinner...) It is located near the airport, far from the crowded hotel main area. No kids, no big families. If you seek a calm and relaxing resort in Cancun, I recommend this. If needed, you can take buses easily and move between the hotel and malls & nightlifes.
“Great Resort! Be careful at the airport!”
Resort was great! 10 minutes from airport, very clean and beautiful, great service. Looks just like the pictures. Adults only is nice, but the pools were smaller than I expected and it was sometimes hard to get people to play volleyball. We took the courtesy shuttle to Moon Palace - bigger, gorgeous, and more people (but, kids allowed). Ocean not as pretty at Moon, but I hear that's seasonal. Easy to use the resort credits. We had 750, and used it on two rounds of golf at Moon, one 50 minute massage and a pedicure. My biggest advice is NOT to be tricked into a time share presentation while at the airport. DO NOT tell anyone what hotel you are staying at. AVOID anyone in a blue polo shirt. Just get all the way outside and look for the taxi/shuttle sign. We took the shuttle, only waited 10 extra minutes, but was half the price as the taxi and we were the first stop. Also, make sure you triple check your departure time right before you leave and even while at the hotel (30 minutes free internet in the lobby). Our friends had their flight moved up and didn't know and got stuck for another night.
“Many reasons to choose Sun Palace”
We booked a 4 night stay, along with another couple. We received the concierge level since we were both celebrating anniversaries. It was a nice perk with a free 25 minute massage, bottle of wine and fruit, upgraded room service menu and premium liquor. Our friend asked for a bottle of Crown and the concierge had it placed in the room (no charge). Free long distance calls and a free excursion were also included. Overall very good food, especially at breakfast and lunch. Friendly staff kept the drinks coming. Don't be afraid to ask for a top shelf drink, they'll take care of you.

“Fantastic--can't wait to go back”
We were treated like royalty from the minute we got there until the minute we left. A flower and champaign upon our arrival and days before our vacation was over, they were asking us when we were coming back. They are always willing to assist you, they make you feel like your the most important people in the world. It was FABULOUS and we are already planning a trip for next spring. The layout of the hotel made it extremely easy to get around and we were just steps away from the ocean.

“Nothing short of amazing!!!”
From start to finish amazing!!!!! This is a little paradise. Staff is so great, rooms are unbelievably clean and food was good! We booked concierge level. As soon as we got to the hotel we were escorted upstairs to a private check-in. Loved that. All four of us were asked if we wanted champagne! Heck Ya! That was a nice first impression. Anyway, our room was so beautiful! Clean like you wouldn't believe. Quiet, no noisy ac unit. Central air! Loved that, my husband hates ac unit noise, so he already was so happy. The balcony of the pool and the endless ocean was nothing short of stunning! Staff... so so sweet, willing to please you every day they see you! Never do they make you feel like your asking to much of them. They are so happy to please you! Roger, our beach waiter was so eager to help us with our lounge chairs and umbrella's. Just so sweet. Entertainment... Amanda is the sweetest thing! We all loved the Michael Jackson show! Got to see that. the overall entertainment was awesome! We all just loved the sun palace and would go back!

Just wanted to say Thank You. We were there for our honeymoon and it was incredible. From the moment we got there we were overwhelmed with the service from the hotel personnel. Service is incredible, from the front desk to the people serving in the 4 restaurants, if we craved something that wasn't on the menu, they prepared it for us. Food and drinks are made to impressed.If your are planning to some tours Palace resorts are very convenient hotels to stay in. We visited all the 7 resorts around Cancun during our stay and we got the same service at all locations. We used all the facilities without extra cost. These resorts offer night entertainment. We will go back next year to celebrate our anniversary!
“sun palace is awesome”
do yourself a favor. book a palace resort stay and enjoy it. some of the resort credit things sucked (isla mujeres tour), but most others were awesome. dont waste time booking them if you arent absolutely sure you want to commit some of your vacation time to these activities. ask for 2 drinks at a time, eat steak and shrimp as much as you want and just chill out and enjoy yourself.
