“Very nice hotel”

I went for business reasons to Cancun, and spend a really nice time in the Intercontinental Hotel. The beach is beautiful, the pools are nice! There are a lot of places within walking distance of the hotel, if you dont want to walk just take the bus wich is Safe and cheap.

“Great Hotel”

We had a great stay at InterContinental Presidente. The room was beautiful, with a view of the city and lagoon. We went for a short stay and got the least expensive room it was well worth it. ALL of the staff were very nice, and very helpful.

My wife and I spent a very restful day in Cancun at the el Presidential Hotel.

Had a GREAT time at this hotel--rooms are a bit shabby, but bed and furniture is new, and all the lobby/pool/beach stuff is brand new and great. Opt in for included breakfast- you won't be sorry! Beach is calm- no waves. Free kayak was very fun! Food service on beach is awesome-great food, reasonable (like U.S.) prices. Fish tacos and duck tacos were my favorites- burger is pretty delicious too! Booked SCUBA and snorkeling excursions through Best Day travel agent in lobby (2nd desk), both trips were great. Definitely hit the supermarket for room snacks and drinks (go out hotel lobby, across street, turn right, walk 2 minutes). Lobby has free internet for guests. Everyone was nice and helpful. Awesome place.

The only setback is the long lay over in Mexico city (7 hours).The flight was on schedule.The experience is satisfactory overall.

“What a beach and hotel service!!”

Got to the hotel after a 10 hour flight and was received with a very courteous staff. After a small hiccup with the room the hotel manager made everything more than great! The hotel has the best beach in Cancun and a very nice pool. Outside of the hotel is a bit dated but inside has been remodeled and is very modern. Thanks to Valter the stay was wonderful!!

“Exactly as expected and more”

We stayed at the Presidente for three nights. We had a room on the 6 th floor in the Club Level. The modern design and spacious layout were visually and functionally perfect for us. From the triangular hallway to the beach-view bathrooms, we couldn't have been more pleased with all that came with the Club Level experience. The included breakfast and evening "snacks" were beautifully prepared and so convenient to our room. It rained quite a bit and the ample lounge area with sofas, chairs, big-screen TV, computers and view really helped with the weather doldrums. The pool areas were immaculately kept and the towels provided were huge. I loved the color-changing lights in the lobby bar, great at night. We only ate dinner once at the hotel and it was a little pricey, but quite good. The service was bit off, but we were in no hurry to leave as it was pouring rain. The beach was as deep and soft as was reputed, but the shallow, waveless water was not as refreshing as I had hoped. We were never really hounded by the Club sales people, and the staff was extremely helpful. I especially was impressed by Freddi, our welcoming bell hop/porter, he was so polite and informative, as was Nancy at the front desk. I chose this hotel because it was not one of the huge, oversized mega resorts, and knowing it was one of the original hotels of Cancun is what drew me to it in the first place. We got exactly what we expected and more. I would stay there again, no question.

“Best beach, customer service.”

At the "top of the 7" of cancun where the water is much calmer, this is the best beach! Lots of sand, no exposed rocks and you can wander out up to your shoulders in the beautiful water. Took a kayak out on the water and took it up to the turn in the hotel strip. This hotel really does have the best beach. Never went to the pools, but they were many and lots of deck chairs and lounges. Older hotel, but you'd never know by the inside - beautifully redone and modern, flat screen tvs, gorgeous tile and decor, internet access. Customer service was great, great, great - anything you need, just ask. On our last night there, I left my purse with my digital camera, cell phone, hotel key, driver's license, etc. on one of the public buses. Thank goodness my passport was in the hotel safe. After an exhausting night at "la policia" we came back to the hotel and told them about the lost purse and hotel key. The one employee grabbed the phone immediately, asking if we had been to the police station, the other employee programmed a new key. I was so impressed with the alarm with which they reacted - much more of a reaction than I had received at the police station. A wonderful stay up until my mistake on the bus. We will definitely come here again. Gracias.
