Mar.31/23 room #206 had no internet access through the entire stay. That floor had a multiple room group of older kids very noisy to past 11PM! 4th floor previous stay on Feb.11/23 was great, quiet and with good internet.

The bed was comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly. But the hotel is on a very busy, noisy street. It’s also very bare-bones for the price - $70/night - no bath mat, two towels, no coffee in room. Only 1 chair for the balcony. Water was easily accessible.

Breakfast included was a big plus, walking distance to market 23 and ADO central bus station and all Colectivos, R1 rides. Staff is very friendly, wish it had a pool but we traded that perk for the breakfast included.Its a good choice if you want to explore more real local lifestyle and not go for the all inclusive hotels. It's a 10 min ride to Playa El Nino and a 20-30 min ride to Playas in the hotel zone.

Hotel Batab offers a clean, comfortable and cheap place to stay. The rooms are somewhat spartan - no mini fridge, no safe in room, no desk with chair, etc. However, you get a complimentary breakfast each morning and the on-site restaurant is really good and very affordable. Finally, the staff at Hotel Batab were friendly, helpful and really a pleasure to deal with. I would stay here again.

It’s 5 minutes from the ADO station and the price was super affordable I just needed a place to sleep. The staff was very helpful with covid testing and programming a taxi for when I left. I had to leave around 5 am back to the airport. If you don’t rent a car it’s very convenient to stay close to the ADO stop. This hotel Is about 20 minutes to zona hotelera

Comfortable & convenient
Check in was 3pm, but the kind receptionist allowed entry at 12noon. The place was in good location and had a restaurant attached. The federal police were training at the location , so I felt very safe. Also, the room had nice balcony. Uber found our location easily.

Nice hotel on a very busy street. The traffic noise is loud. Service is good. A/C worked great. Wifi was ok. Overall, good hotel for the price!

I was her for 4 days/3 nights, the hotel staff is very friendly and respectful, Julio was very helpful. I did have an issue with the room key which was very inconvenient to me because every time I returned from an exhausted day I had to go back and fourth from the room to the front desk because the key would not work, so this happened every day while I was there and I asked why did this happened every day the receptionist was very friendly and respectful but did not give an explanation if they have an equipment issue I would of understand, everything else was ok and kind of what I expected for what I paid, I would stay there again.

Perdida de abjetos en mi habitacion
Muy mal servicio, se desaparecio algunos objetos en el primer dia de limpieza, depues se comprende que revisaron mi portafolio y de ahi desparecio dinero, se hablo con el gerentre pero al final de cuenta no hicieron nada al respecto, con ninguna confianza para dejar las cosas personales en ese lugar.. Piensen bien a donde se hospedad, de antemano yo no lo recomiendo que se hospeden aqui en este lugar

Overall a decent hotel
Only 2 complaints about this hotel, 1 -the AC in the rooms was barely enough to cool it at night yet the lobby was super cold and 2 - the amenities says hotel drop off. When we asked we were told Hotels.ca would pay and that is clearly incorrect. Beds are typical mexican mattresses meaning hard :-)

If your looking for the best Cancun night life downtown is NOT place you want to stay, I was at the beach the majority of the time I was there. But it’s economical and check out is st 1pm so not bad.

BASIC GOOD HOTEL RAN IN A FIRST CLASS MANNER
EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY LIKE GUESTS TO FEEL LIKE FAMILY. THAT'S JUST HOW I FELT. THEY HAD A STAFF BIRTHDAY GATHERING AND I TOLD A FRONT DESK PERSON THAT I DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY CAKE, THEY ASKED ME IF I WANTED A PIECE THEY WOULD GET IT FOR ME . WILL DEFINITELY TRY TO STAY HERE AGAIN

Not bad for 1night that we stayed
We only stayed one night, not horrible but not good. Cons: Beds are super hard, outdated, drinking water is sketchy, towels were crunchy/hard, blankets were very out dated, aling with everything else. Pros: staff is super friendly, staff was very prompt to call us a taxi at 520am to the airport, AC units are super cold, rooms over all were clean, elevator to upper units were good, staff at frnt desk upgraded our other group to a 3 bed room no extra charge without us even askihg! Overall dont think id stay again because its very inside of the city and not close to the beach, and hard beds just arent ok with my back, but it again wasnt horrible for a quick stay.

Nice reception, but disgustingly dirty beds.
My flight brought me very early. The reception desk staff was very pleasant and kindly allowed me to leave my luggage behind the desk for several hours and to check into the room more than an hour ahead of official check-in time. The room at first glance looked acceptable--plain, neat--but when I turned back the sheets of the first bed, I found hairs. When I turned back the sheets of the second bed, I found a smear of dried filth. Being too exhausted to look for another place, I found a housekeeper in the hall nearby and showed her dirty sheets. She apologized profusely and asked me to wait a few minutes while she changed the sheets. Fortunately, I did get clean sheets after that, but I decided to lay a towel over the bottom sheet, to sleep on. At least the towels were large and clean.

Easy and convenient.
We stayed here because we had an early (8 am) flight out of Cancun and had to return a rental car. Place was fine and easy for that. We checked in by 9 pm, ate at a local restaurant and left by 5.30 am. Can't say we did much else but the place was convenient and clean and friendly. It was also walkable to one of the super cool local markets (Market 23) in Cancun but we checked in so late that it was all closed. It'd be a great base to explore that. It's not really a beach vacation hotel however so don't expect that! In addition, we stayed the same night that they were hosting a Gendarmaria convention. Place was FULL of armed police. 14 out of 16 cars parked out back were police so we felt safe :-)

Despite advertising an airport shuttle there was none to be had. Phone numbers on website were non-functioning. The email address was no good either. Oh yea, it was full to the brim with Federales. Nice staff, but...

Very basic and inexpensive hotel
Arrived at hotel with police everywhere--there was a convention in town and many federales were staying at hotel. Guess that made it safe heh. Basic hotel, inexpensive and close enough to walk to mall and many restuarants. Staff was friendly even though overtaxed by the influx of many police. Breakfast included was tasty. Hotel is old and dated but clean. We where just returned to Cancun to fly out next morning.
