The room was nice n has access to the beach. It’s very clean, the shower does have hot water I didnt had no problem the area was safe n there’s a store across the hotel where u can buy snacks n also sell food. The service from the hotel was great.

Staff were great to deal with and they had everything we needed. The 4 star instead of 5 is because it is an older building but they were working on fixing certain areas. The restaurant has great food and staff but could have been better on the "north american" style food selection but you don't come here to have hot dogs... which was on the menu. Probs for kids. All the home town selections were great... and they even bringing it to you POOL side. Overall a great experience and we would definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival had to go back and fourth about paying for my room as i had a receipt saying i paid $200 if i did not argue i would have been charged another 200 USD easily. It Took a while for him to realize he was wrong. Then arrived early about 12 and still didnt get in our room til almost 4 we were told wait for security to take us to our room. Then we saw him take new people to their room before us and front desk tells us we can go ourselfs. Then we get a key but not the check in papers with all the info so have to go back for that. We were told The restaurant opens at 8am, was not until 12. However the food was good, and the pool area is nice. The room itself the sink oversprays EVERYWHERE and overflows. We were charged for a towel it had a corner of juice on it as we poured it in the sink but guess what it oversprays and fills up anytime you use it. Are the towels not washed already? I could have soaked that towel in the sink with soap and water and easily cleaned it. Also the building and doors and floors all seems like theyre falling apart. Not sure how so many high reviews, Id only stay here if others were not available. Service was nice i guess except for when you call them out on it. If you meed wifi dont bother its useless, even cable barely worked glad i finished my work before coming here. Not a fan

I would say that you get what you pay for. The hotel was affordable, and therefore we didn't have high expectations. However, considering the beautiful view that we can get (sunsets and the ocean view), it's disappointing that the building is so old and poorly maintained. It's about time they modernize it. Nonetheless, we appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the pools. We were pleasantly surprised that they cleaned our room during our stay. We also appreciated that they cleared the seaweed early in the morning on the beach. The food (croque madame and ciabatta sandwich) we ordered wasn't worth it. I wouldn't recommend eating there, especially if it's not included in your package. The staff was easily accessible, which we appreciated.

Was excellent except the director of the hotel she is very rude person doesn’t offer a customer services she doesn’t have manner even the employees have complain about her nasty person really desapointed for the administration of the hotel more they close the only restaurant at 8pm when people arrived evening time don’t have place to eat no servises room either the pool has a pool bar but the administrator don’t let the people smile loud even walk around with the drinks and the using plastic glass she is very unprofessional person not califa at all for the position please let them know I always book my vacation with you Expidia

I loved my room and the view, the only thing that I would have liked in my opinion is that the water in the pool was cold. I wasn't expecting that so I preferred not to get in the pool while I stayed there only the day I tried it. The bartenders were excellent. He was from Chile. I order some food and drinks while I was at the pool, they were great but couldn't stay longer because I was cold. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Beautiful views from our room. Even better views from the infinity pool, overlooking the beach. Restaurant had excellent food at very reasonable prices. Our room was very clean & quiet.

Cyan really did impress me and family. Although we only stayed one night, we will definitely be coming back. Building conditions are stable, but we saw them working on improvement! The view was impeccable and we cannot wait to come back to Cyan!

After reading all the negative reviews I still booked this place, so it would be unfair to complain but… Positives: fast check-in and out, polite receptionist Daniel, decent cocktails at the lobby bar (avoid pool bar), pool is really nice and clean, the view is amazing, clean beach, crystal clear sea (free of algae), constant breeze and waves, Oxxo across the street, relaxing vibe overall and yes they play music during the day at the pool bar but only for couple of hours. Negatives: the room is tooo basic, room with lagoon view is overlooking busy road and is super NOISY 24/7, sink is leaking room 6211, constant door slamming (please don’t slam the doors), hotel is built in a square shape so whatever is happening in that empty lobby you gonna hear it in your room, i stayed at the second floor on top of the bar so imagine, the food is OVERPRICED for that poor quality!!!! $USD15 for 3 scrambled eggs? Cmon!!!! Please improve your restaurant and you gonna have everyone eating at your place instead of running to Oxxo and the cafe across the street.

This is an older hotel with a really nice pool, rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. We were happy to be on the quieter end of the beach in Cancun.

Checking in with quick and easy upon leaving. We were told they were missing a facial towel and accuse us of stealing charge my credit card 60 pesos I will never stay here again. The hotel was pretty empty. This is a common thing they do if you read reviews on yelp.
