There is a beautiful back porch area right next to the river. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room is done in real knotty pine planks with matching furniture. Feels like a cabin. Parking right in front of your room. Great value. Liked it so well we stayed an extra day.

Gentleman was very rude. Place looked like it was falling down Pictures wasn’t up to date. Porches was rotten wood. Very poor quality of service. We didn’t stay or trip was cancelled and we were able to get a better deal

We loved the back porch that overlooked the river and picnic tables at the waters edge. It's an older motel, so the room isn't huge (not a big deal to us). It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable! Staff was very nice and helpful.

I like the price is reasonable for the place location and what the offer. Now you can hear everyones conversation on the back yard that a sucky part around 8pm if you tired ready to sleep. But is not for me to complaint cause is rveryones vacation so im fine with deal with it. I will defenetly recomended the place

The young guy running the office came out to greet us even as we rolled in after midnight. He was super polite and cheerful, refreshing considering most clerks by that time are pretty tired or grouchy. The rooms were quaint, like little cabins, and our porch by the river was absolutely beautiful. It was great to sit by the river at night and the next morning, chatting with other friendly guests staying. We will definitely stay here again soon!

Nice scenic location especially with the river behind property. Very clean. Needed a blanket or two placed in each room. Young man who checked me in on 3/1/24 was very pleasant and professional.

Great Value
During a WSOP Event, the accommodations can get a little hard to come by so i made it a point to stay at the smaller establishments to see what they offer. First and For most fr this trips goal was cost, i needed a place to stay that had what I needed for less than a month's rent to stay for a week. For around $50 a day, i was able to stay here during one of the busiest times of the area. this hotel isn't going to blow you away, it's very clean, and in a prime location, ( just outside of the touristy area, but only 5 mins from the casino) you are next to a residential area, so there is some animal noise but it's not bad, the rooms are well kept, beds are decent, one thing lacking was bedding, the comforters are very quaint but not effective for the cold weather, the heather had to to be way up. The staff was excellent and always available. I would recommend this property to anyone on a budget or just not needing a fancy hotel experience, this is a great place to stay I will be back here next series.

This place was old but very clean. Here’s the deal. For the price it’s an awesome place. The river in the back with a deck and chairs was great. Will definitely be staying again.

Great view of the river. The room is small and not luxurious, but has wood panel ceiling and walls with fireplace, which is perfect for a mtn stay. Bryson City is 5 miles. The fireplace only adds to the rustic look... Not for use of course.

For the price, we got what we paid for. Lloyds is very old and outdated. The floor was uneven, making it difficult to walk. The ceiling over one of the beds was buckled and looked like it was going to collapse. There were large and small holes all over the bathroom walls. The water lever in the shower was very hard to turn on. You had to pull it out and it seemed as if you were going to pull it out of the wall!! We had to take our towels to the office daily to get fresh ones as there was no daily housekeeping service. There was a complimentary condom in the nightstand drawer. We will definitely not stay here again nor will we recommend it to anyone!!

The staff was very friendly and very easy check-in. Older motel which is exactly what we were looking for. Just like the hotels we would stay in on vacation to the mountains we I was a kid (50 years ago). Right on the river with a beautiful view from the rocking chair on the back porch. Motel was clean and easy to get to. Will stay there again.

Room was nice, but a little on the smaller side. The bathroom was very cramped with the toilet nearly unusable since it was set right next to the wall which didn't allow for a comfortable sit. In addition, the bathroom was frigid. There was no heat in there and it was very cold. Only saw staff during check in. Never had cleaning service during 5 day stay (but that seems industry wide since COVID). The hotel is on the river and you have a private spot to enjoy it on a deck. Area is truly beautiful. Parking is free. Pet friendly for a fee. Close to Bryson City and Cherokee (5 miles each). Would stay again!

Got in late, everything seemed fine for a low budget hotel. Honestly I am not hard to please. About an hour in, my partner woke up to three bed bugs crawling on our pillow. We got out of bed and took photos/videos to show to the hotel manager. We then showed the video to the night manger. His tone right away took be back. Said he wouldn't believe there we bed bugs in the room unless he saw them with his own eyes. This is after we had only been there all of an hour mind you. We dig through the room and found 1. I guess the other two retreated, I don't know much about bed bugs. Worst part is, the manager suggested it could hav been us that planted them as a way of getting our stay for free. After 1 hour, in the middle of the night. This place is ridiculous even by my fairly lax standards. don't stay here unless you want to bring some pets home with you.

Cute little place
Cute little place with a nice view of the river. The room was comfortable, kiddo wanted to stay another night. It’s a little dated, but that’s part of the charm and super cute. I think the only thing we said we’d like were blackout curtains, it was a little bright when trying to sleep, but we’re use to it being dark in the bedrooms. Otherwise no complaints.

Our stay and experience here overall was great, we knew going in that it was nothing fancy and that the property was older and that was ok because we just wanted somewhere safe, clean and family friendly, that was on the river and that is exactly what we got! The property is definitely older but it was decorated cute, beds were comfortable and it was most important… Clean! no signs of bugs or mold etc.. There were a few things like a chewed up door on the bathroom and an older smell to the room but other then that it was great. Really nice outdoor area out back to enjoy the river with picnic tables, grills and pretty outdoor string lights, the porch & back deck had rocking chairs too. I definitely recommend if you need a cheap place while in Bryson ( convenient to dollar general, town, train) as long as you are a down to earth, humble person that doesn’t need anything but the basics then this is the perfect place. Friendly office person also. Thank you once again.

Stay only if desperate.
This place is outdated and in need of repairs. Bathroom had curtains discolored and riped. Tub had multiple repairs and looked terrible. Beds sqeeked and sagged. Sorry dint take photos, should have. The only thing that was good about this place was the guy who checked me in very friendly and kind.

The host @ the front desk was very nice & friendly. He made us feel @ home. The hotel was cute & cozy & comfortable. my favorite was the riverview & waking up & being able to open our back door & look @ the river. i definitely will visit again

Lovely rustic location on the river but the rooms and facilities are in desperate need of renovation, repair, and upgrade. New quilts are not enough to make up for broken down bathroom, useless shower, threadbare towels and a single harsh fluorescent light. Fly fisherman might prefer to camp.

It was easy driving in & out. It's right on the river. Slept very well on the bed. The room was small but cozy. Didn't care much for the bathroom arrangement. The exhaust fan wouldn't pull the steam out and the whole bathroom sweated including the floor. The toilet was very close to the wall. Overall, we enjoyed two nights there.

No coffee pot, microwave or hair dryer as described. Window coverings did not cover the windows and I felt unsafe. I stayed 1 out of the 2 nights I booked with no refund for the 2nd night. Do not stay here based on other reviews or pictures. The pictures are not current.
