“In town for house hunt”

Everything went well. Nice hotel for the money. We booked a non smoking room and when our room stunk of smoke they promptly moved us and apologized. A good,solid place to stay.

You think that Quality Inn means 2-star or really yucky. This place was awesome in every single way. And I am in the hotel business. Perfect.

Hotel was very clean and neat. Breakfast was not bad. I would definitely stay there again.

Even thought it is a chain, the employees were the example of southern charm and hospitality. Very accomadating and eager to please. Great continental breakfast included in the price, many items to choose from all freash and good quality. In an easliy accessible location from the highway, close to many resturants and attractions. Love Love Love Dunkin Deli nextdoor too.

“2800 miles driven and this was the best!”

This hotel FAR exceeded expectations. It's a lovely building with a stone exterior, we were greeted promptly and in a very personal and friendly way. Just that gentleman working the front desk very likely could have made my trip. The room was a truly nice room, its size (reasonably big, two queen beds), its furnishings, the bedding was very nice and plenty of pillows. My kids would love to tell you how much they loved the swimming pool (outdoor, heated, just an okay location), I left my swimsuit in my mother-in-laws laundry room in New Jersey, so only my feet got to enjoy this pool. The breakfast also exceeded expectations. Hot stuff!! Bacon, sausage, omeletes, biscuits, gravy... and then the usual simple carbs that usually comprise the "free breakfasts". My kids always love the waffle maker, so that was taken advantage of also the morning we were there. This recent trip gave us a total of 5 nights in hotels, and this hotel was positively THE BEST. You won't be disappointed. On other review sites there were some nasty reviews about a Quality Inn in Abingdon, which I guess they have two of. Make sure you're at 930 E. Main Street, it's the greatest hotel in its category BY FAR.

“Excellent choice”

Do not hesitate to stay here. We usually stay at Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express or Marriott. I booked reservations here because of the previous comments and was not disappointed. I have to say my husband was nervous on the trip because of my choice but he could only compliment the accomodations. The room was lovely, so convenient with the frig and microwave. Staff was great, as well as the extensive breakfast. Our room was on the backside so I don't know about noise from I-81. However Hampton and Holiday Inns are just as close to the highway. We will certainly stay here again.

“Very happy”

MY husband and I stayed there one night in a king room. We were very comfortable and extremely pleased with the staff. We had driven through the night and arrived at the hotel a lot earlier then originally planned. Even though check-in was not until 3pm they were able to get us in a room at 10am. Very very very pleased. In fact, we are going back next weekend.

This is a wonderful place and lovely people. We had a nice breakfast and coffee. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

“Only one complaint”

Only one thing needs attention. The window curtains do not close and bright lights shine into the rooms. For those who like to sleep in a dark room, you will be disappointed. Norma Altavista, VA
