To have a view on the sixth floor even was just amazing a big thank you to the saff for how nice and professional the staff was they definitely set the standard for hotels in Brisbane

Love staying at Rydges, very close to South Bank pools, bars and restaurants, only a few mins walk across the road. This is our 4th stay within the last 6 months!

The rooms were really nice, exactly like the pictures. Amazing view and the staff/service was exceptional. Our flight was canceled and we got re-booked on an earlier flight, they already had our room ready when we arrived and allowed us to check in straight away. Great stay!

Great area to stay in,room was nice but right from the get go there was a lack of service. We arrived at 5.30 pm and on check in I asked were the pool was as we were dying to have a swim to unwind. We were told the pool closes at 6pm but the pool bar stays open till 10 pm. We were very disappointed as we chose a property with a pool so we could swim in the evenings as we had full days. I have never stayed in a hotel with a pool that closed before 10pm either. Reason for early close - lack of staff. Ok so will have a cocktail and get in part of the plan,dump bags in room go down only to be told hurry up bar closes at 6.30 ! I said I was told 10pm , no lack of staff closing at 6.30. We would have had dinner there but by this point we’re getting sick of the hotel culture and unsure of if they could cope with dinner. Had a great dinner out, came back around 8.30 got to our room went to make a cup of tea , only cups , rang down asked for mugs they said will send some up. Three quarters of an hour later rang down again they said they were coming but short staffed ! Never came ! If they don’t have them just say so , don’t leave people waiting ! In the morning I asked at reception and she apologised and said I’ll send some up , two more cups NOT mugs were on the bench.We had to get takeaway cups in the end. Also I had medication on the bathroom bench next to the glass to take next day and it was thrown out by the cleaning staff. We walked away from there shaking our heads.

Property was in a great location. However tv remote was faulty so could not access any hotel information. Room was not stocked with milk or cups, spoons for tea & coffee & we had no access to breakfast as it is all done thru the tv remote which was faulty.

Rydges serves a purpose in being the closest hotel to the Brisbane Convention Centre. But never in all my years travelling have I had a housekeeper enter my room while I was in the bathroom having a shower and ask whether I wanted housekeeping. The fact that it was 8.30am in the morning and I was getting ready for a conference defeats the whole purpose of staying there. Never again.

Excellent stay. We stayed as a party of 3 with a wheelie, despite being a normal room, we could still access the room and the shower chair went over the toilet ok. We did not use the shower, only a quick O/N stay.

Most comfortable bed in Brisbane!
We would definitely recommend for a quiet, comfortable, and central stay right at the conference center. The food was excellent and the breakfast very tasty. The beds were so comfy I slept better than at home! The room we had was very spacious, with excellent amenities.

Horrific customer service
Great hotel but absolutely shocking service with hotels.com. I need a receipt to be reimbursed by my company and it's been over a week chasing it. It hasnt been emailed to me and trying to phone the landline with my details and the robot is saying it cant find my booking. Going in circle. It's just an horrific customer service. Never again.

Not good service
Good hotel is great location, but service was not good. Check in staff were friendly, but when trying to order room service, no one was answering the phone. Went down to reception to ask for bucket of ice, as no one answering calls. After 30 min still no ice arrived so had to go down a second time, with the lady at reception being extremely rude.

Walking distance to a lot of dinning and entertainment. However the best dinning is experienced right there at Rydges. Everyone was so helpful from the moment we were greeted and assisted with our luggage, to the wonderful table service and delicious meal. Thank you everyone at Rydges.
