This was the best vacation rental we have stayed in. It was absolutely immaculate, very well organized and extremely well maintained. The landlords were thoughtful about all the details that made our stay even nicer. I can’t say enough good things about this rental and would definitely stay here again

Best vrbo ever
This has got to be the best vrbo ever. The home is perfect in every way, location, cleanliness, and everything was in perfect working order. Great home base
We highly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and well stocked. It’s close to lots of great attractions. One of our favourite day trips was stopping at the lahave bakery and taking ferry across the river to lunenburg.

Tremendous
First time to East Coast and this property work very well for sightseeing in the area. Everything within a couple of hours. House was well equipped with the necessities of staying for 5 days. Owners were very prompt at getting black to us. Would recommend this property.

It was very easy to communicate with the owner, Gary. He always answered quickly. The home is in a nice neighborhood. After staying in hotels for our road trip we were so pleased to be in such a clean, comfortable and fully equipped home. I would recommend this property for others to stay in. The only issue we had was initially finding it. Being from the USA we couldn't use our GPS while in Nova Scotia so we relied on maps that were not very detailed. Once we found it, we quickly became familiar with the area and used it as our main base.

Great find!
This place was awesome! We really enjoyed our stay. The kids liked that they each had their own place to unwind. We had lots of space to hang out as a family both inside and outside. Everything was close in proximity or a short drive to check out the sites. There is even an outdoor pool down the street where we took the kids in the evening. Gary and Shirley have thought of all the things their guests will need. If you are looking for a place to stay this is truly a home away from home. Looking forward to coming back real soon!

This property was very user friendly. From stepping into the cool interior from the 30 degree heat, to the fresh new decor. Every little thing was carefully thought out: milk & cream and condiments in fridge, basic spices as well as a few staples. The bathrooms were over the top stocked with everything you could imagine. We sat on the deck every morning & evening. We enjoyed the coffee selection as well as the beautiful Denby mugs. We would highly recommend this property. Thank you so much!

Home away from home
Gary and Shirley are the ultimate hosts. The house is fully provisioned from the kitchen to the bathroom. Grab a few groceries and you are ready to enjoy your vacation. The house is located near a shopping centre and various restaurants. The neighbourhood is super quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful place for a night or a week
The house is a wonderful 2 bedroom place in a quiet neighborhood. Easy to find and drive to all local places including Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. Well stocked, very clean, great communication with the owners. If you are looking for a place in Bridgewater or the area - definitely recommend this spot.

Very good house, and great hosts. Very warm and quiet (the house that is) with everything you could need for a stay away. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, washer/dryer in the basement and all the conveniences you could need. Hosts were helpful and accommodating. Can't fault them. We would highly recommend for visiting the South Shores and coves.

A sublime space
This is the second time we have stayed at Gary and Shirley’s house. It is the best equipped and most comfortable rental we’ve ever had. The kitchen has everything you could ever want, the bedroom is warm and cozy, the living room spacious and spacious. (Not to mention the two bedrooms we didn’t use!) The hosts left plenty of welcoming touches, including a bottle of local wine and tulips. A real home away from home.

This was perhaps the best rental property we've ever stayed in. Very comfortable and bright, and equipped with every convenience you could dream of. Nice touches like Christmas decorations and providing milk in the fridge. Close to the Woodland Gardens walking trails. The hosts were very communicative, and went out of their way to help when I foolishly left a bag at the house. We can't wait to come back!
