Lovely Little Getaway
My husband and I came for an anniversary getaway. We just wanted to be on the water! This delivered on that account. Views from the balcony of Taneycomo were lovely, and having access to the Fall Creek Marina dock was perfect when we wanted to go out on a boat. The location is ideal, and we found the bed quite comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we enjoyed using the little electric grill on the balcony.
Two pieces of feedback for potential travelers: First, as the write-up says, this is a dog friendly stay. And it was obviously from the minute we walked in that many dogs have had the joy of staying at this condo. If your nose is adjusted to the doggie smell, then you won't have issues. But for anyone with minor pet allergies or sensitive noses, this is a stay you may not be keen on. It was clear that the owner had the place thoroughly cleaned, and the carpet seemed like it had been steam cleaned in the living room which may have enhanced the pet odor (it wasn't so strong in the bedroom where the carpet did not appear to have been steam cleaned).
The second bit of advice is that the condo is quite small. It would have been uncomfortable had we brought our daughter. Even though there is a pullout couch, there isn't a lot of room with the other large pieces of furniture for pulling it out. I would recommend this stay to 1-2 people + dog max.
We had a great time though, and would recommend to other nature enthusiasts and their doggos.
