“great hotel”
Our stay at The Victoria Inn was pleasent. The front desk staff were amazing we were running late and they gave us directions and a map . We weren't happy with our server at the restaurant he took our order and never came back to the table to see if we needed anything else.
“Very Impressed”
I stayed at this hotel for a conference in Brandon, Mb. Very impressed with the hotel and room. Rooms were very clean and they offer a free hot breakfast at the restaurant with each night stay. I recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.
“Suprisingly pleasing”
With recently renovated rooms and free breakfast the hotel is reasonably priced for what it offers. I stayed in a suite, which I got as a last minute deal and was quite happy with the accomadations. They were better than expected. The free breakfast gives you achoice of anything off the menu and although the restauraunt itself could use a reno of its own, the food was also better than expected.
“Vic Inn Brandon”
Hotel doesnt look that nice from the outside (old brick, sprawled out) however I was quite surprised by the inside. Very neat, nice pool and comfortable clean rooms.

This hotel prides itself on being 110% clean and I found that to be the case. My prior stay was at the chain's hotel near the airport in Winnipeg which is a cut above the Brandon clone. However, this hotel is adequate for business travellers and families will like the pool and hot tub.Those seeking quiet should opt for rooms not overlooking the pool. The business centre was well patronized. I was joined by family relations who checked-in based on my choice of accommodation. I would definitely stay there again.

“Pleasant stay”
The remote for the tv was difficult to work. I left some food purchases ( sealed cheeses)in the fridge by mistake and when I returned later that day they were unable to return them to me. I wish i had been given a map for the layout of the hotel. It was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in; breakfast was terific and free. Beds comfortable ; Front desk staff pleasant ( although I suspect the cleaning staff got my cheeses!)
“Lackluster service”
The hotel is okay and has a nice indoor courtyard, pool area. But the service is lackluster, both at the front desk and in the restaurant. There is no elevator to the second floor, which caused issues with a senior in our group who had mobility issues. Despite our request for a first floor room in the reservation, the front desk staff couldn't be bothered to read our reservation correctly and we had to request a different room. Even still, there were some steps leading from the parking lot to the hotel which caused some difficulty for her.
“Just an ok stay!”
The hotel check-in was smooth and efficient. The room was ok and quite out dated. The comfort of the beds was barely ok with borderline mattresses and linens. The shower was not very good with low water pressure. The cleaning staff again was ok because they did come in and switch our towels and make beds but nothing more was done. The pool towels were horrible; thin and too small for children. The only reason I would ever recommend the hotel to a friend is because there is no other place to stay in Brandon that would be any better.
