Rooms were clean with nice amenities (refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine). Beds were nice and comfortable. Nice place to stay when just need good basics with nice pool to hang when not running around for your main visit purpose.

Overall this hotel was incredibly well-priced and in a convenient location however, the cleanliness and maintenance is lacking. It was disappointing that the original room provided had a significant amount of hair on the bathroom floor and had a musty smell. In addition, the room had an adjoining door to another room which had a significant gap underneath, meaning we could hear everything being said next door. After requesting to be moved to another room the staff were apologetic and accomodating.

It was just okay. Not the cleanest place. Breakfast sucked with small dining room. Way overpriced. But needed it in a pinch and I was able to get booked. Unbothered by employees, especially housekeeping.

I liked that a few Argentinian and Peruvian restaurants were in easy walking distance. Their was also a Cuban restaurant and brewery in walking distance as well. I a little bit of a longer walk to another brewery and FAU.

Bathroom had Poop on the wall. Looking like finger painting. totaly gross.. Didnt notice until next morning or I would of left. GCFI blew and could not reset. No power in the bathroom.

I thought its just like it rated a 3 star hotel. Nothin g great and nothing terrible. It's a place to stay a night or two on a budget. Good area if you're going to visit someone at FAU. Again, it's a good 3 star hotel, it's what you would expect.

Pay a little extra go somewhere else.
Typical story. Old hotel trying to get away with a facelift. The staff was kind and helpful. Not their fault the building is old, smelly, and new tile floors do not fix it.

Horrible Experience!
We arrived at 11 pm after a long day of traveling only to find they didn't have a room for us! Note: I made this reservation over a month ago. The very unhelpful and clueless desk clerk told us that they actually did have rooms but they just weren't clean. Why would all the rooms not be cleaned?? Such poor management. This dumb kid had no idea what to do so he called his manager (not on site) who told him to just cancel and refund our reservation. No offer to help find us another place! Additionally, we were coming for a wedding and there was a gift bag left there for us which he didn't give us. The lobby was dirty - a dirty tissue on the couch! I can't imagine what the rooms looked like! We scrambled for a last minute reservation somewhere else. I've always had good experiences at BWplus but this was truly awful!

Pros: the room was adequate and typical for a hotel of this class. It was clean and comfortable. The courtyard was beautiful, with plants and palm trees and foliage. The breakfast was awesome, with lots of choices. The staff at breakfast did a great job. Cons: The pool is NOT heated as the website claims. This is January, the time to heat it, and the water was cold. Also, there are signs saying it's open until 10 PM, but there were no lights and it was pitch black. The front desk lady claimed they don't light it for the privacy of guests, but this is Florida and there are lizards and other creatures around, not to mention it's dangerous to swim in the dark. Also, she was rude to my cousin when my cousin pointed out there were lights in the pool that could be turned on. She was very difficult to understand at check in. Her co worker was playing on her phone and didn't seem to want to give my cousin an extra towel. They need to train their staff better.
