Good place to stay.
One night stay, and again, everything was clean and tidy. Comfortable beds. They were able to accommodate my large trailer on the property which is always a plus.

We liked the layout of the room and the outdoor seating area. We were also able to do our laundry, which was needed at that time.

Great area and hub for the shoppers, or foodies, can walk to everything with safe parking on site with charging facilities for hybrids or e.v’s. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

Room very small for three adults we had to single file around the unit. Excellent shower pressure and very clean. We didnt know it was dog friendly until unfortunately two dogs had a fight outside our unit. We would not have stayed here if we had known about the dog friendly status. Would be interesting to know if some rooms are dedicated dog friendly or its just the look of the draw?

We have a room suitable for 3 adults, it is a shame you didnt book it. we are dog friendly and it was not a dog fight. over 8 years this is the first time we have a problem or a negative comment. The attacking dog should not have been let out of its cage. and was not in the room so could have happened anywhere. Our furbaby has recovered finally, thanks for your concern.

Comfortable and well positioned
Although a little outdated and tired, this well positioned motel is comfortable for an overnight stay. The bathroom is well maintained, the kitchenette is fully equipped and the bed comfortable.

Affordable close to CBD
Affordable, units are not large but adequate for overnight. All basic facilities are fine. And some nice little thoughtful touches. Supermarket less than a block away and conveniently located in quietish street on edge of CBD

Nice spacious room with spa bath that fully work. Nights were generally cool but Blenheim can be warm. No air conditioning.

Our stay at Bella Vista Blenheim
Very friendly staff and made us feel most welcome. Just found the room a little small. Would have been nice to have a small dining table and / or couch. But overall, we have a lovely stay

Thank you for taking the time to post a review, yes some of our rooms are small, we have larger rooms but being this close to town, space is at a premium. Try our one bedrooom next time which has a dining table.

The best points about this motel
The location of motel is very near the centre of Blenheim town ( if you actually want to go there ) . The staff were helpful and friendly.

Great except I was surrounded by a group of people who were up drinking and chatting directly outside my door so I couldn't even walk outside without tripping through the group and feeling awkward. Maybe set up a communal area that isn't interfering with other guests in their room.

Nice tidy motel, close to everything.
Was within easy walking to nice restaurants but far enough that it was quiet at night. A 2-pk of biscuits as part of the coffee/tea on the first night, but don't get replaced. Not a biggie, but seems a bit cheap. One bottle of shampoo that doubles as a body wash, not that nice. The room was tidy and the bed was large, but it was small and for a 3 night stay was a bit claustrophobic. Did have a heater towel rail though, which so many in the South Island don't, so that was nice.

Cosy & Convenient
Comfortable room with welcoming hosts. Less than 5 mins walk from centre of town; supermarket almost on doorstep, pubs & bars, and other small-town amenities.

Customer service was great, the room was clean. BUT, the room itself was very, very small, the bed and pillows were pretty uncomfortable, there was paint peeling on the roof in the shower. Not worth the $140.00 a night that we paid. I would have expected to have had a bigger more comfortable room for that price.
