When we got to the hotel, which was in the late evening, we had to wait quite a bit (10-15 minutes) for a receptionist to come out. There was no bell or no way to let anyone know that we were there.
The halls smelled of cigarette smoke, even though the rooms were supposed to be non-smoking. When we got into our room our sink would not drain and my husband had to literally get underneath the counter and push up the drain stop in order for the water to drain. The toilet seat had to be tightened. There were cords showing and extension cords along the floor. Once getting into bed, the sheets were so scratchy they felt like sandpaper. After staying there a night we tried to go and talk about getting a refund for the next two nights because we were not comfortable staying there another night. They said that since we booked through a third party, they could not reimburse us. I even called expedia and they tried to talk to them and the hotel would not budge. We paid for two nights without even staying there. This was the unfortunate part because I was not looking to get fully reimbursed, I just wanted the reimbursement for the two nights we did not stay there. All of these concerns were out of our hands.
The experience was a 0 out of 10, do not recommend.
