I did not like not having a person available at the property. I did not like not have a sitting area in the room other than the tiny table and chairs. I did not like not having parking. I will not stay at this property again.

Nice room. Noisy location. Cars and motorcycles racing til wee hours. Ethnic music started early Sat am for 3 hours. Parking terrible. Virtual key for entry never worked for us and others trying to get in. Dependent on comings and goings of residents for entry. Lovely common area and mezzanine. 2nd stay was the last. Staying in the suburbs next time.

This property was amazing! We had no trouble checking in, it was super easy as well as checking out. There were staff members there when we arrived and helped us navigate the way to our studio. We booked the studio for our 1 night trip and it was the perfect size for 2 guests. From this property it was a 13 minute walk to downtown, where we had dinner at The Yard, it was delicious!

Was good for one night. Parking was kind of tough but found places on the street. Area felt safe. Being in some sketchy cities I was nervous about parking my vehicle on the street overnight but everything was fine. Again, the area around UAB felt very safe.

Cute little loft. Great for 3 guests and very clean. Walking distance to music venue and coffee/donut shop. Beautiful park a few blocks away.

Really easy check-in process. Very clean and very comfortable. The elevator was out of order (2/24),outside of that, the experience was outstanding. Security on site was excellent.

The studio is nice, spacious, and clean. However, this property is nostalgic in a way that I’m not interested in. I felt like I was back in a college dorm with the thinnest walls. Very loud music until 3 am. The never ending smell of marijuana. People that like to maximize the sound of their “bedroom activities.”Lots of running and stomping around. And the doors to all the rooms and the stairwells SLAM shut. If you are in town for a business trip or if you’re looking to get some rest, this is NOT the place for you. There was also construction work going on at property that includes lamination of floors at the entrance. This produced a horrible smell that permeated the whole building. The smell is very similar to insect repellent. The elevators were also not in service so more than 40 lbs of luggage had to be carried up multiple flights of steps. I gave this property a try, because I visit this city often and I like boutique experiences but this on the “never again” list.

Couldn’t use rogu, no password for internet, info was not clear on getting someone to contact for these problems, loved room very well equipped. Elevator was not working old people and stair’s don’t go together at least it was only 3 floors

Has ALMOST everything you need
Property has everything you need except a working elevator. I booked this property because of the close proximity to UAB hospital, for my husband’s brain surgery. Did not find out that the elevator was out of order until we were on our way to Birmingham, so it was too late to find another location. Lugging a week’s worth of luggage for two people up to the third floor was a pain. Other than that, the room and property itself were clean and well maintained.

It was a very nice hotel and in a pretty decent location with food and breweries nearby. The room was nice and modern. But, there was no parking so you have to park and walk a block and there arent any physical people to assist, its all digital and on your phone, so how to get to the building and parking, access, etc were a bit confusing and no one phyically to speak with to ask for help there. Its a different kind of hotel, but overall a nice place so if you can get past the digital-only, it's nice.

The property was perfect for going to the hospital. The kitchen and washer/dryer were such a help. The property was super clean and I can't say enough about the bed, pillows and the linens! I'm hoping that I can order them for my home. One challenge was that the parking was offsite. Luckily, it is only across the street- but it will cost $12 a day to use it. The biggest challenge was using the front door keypad (I didn't have my reading glasses and couldn't see it) and getting in the door of my room- the code did not say to hit the check button after the 4 digit code..so that took a while. I would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful and feels like being at home but there’s absolutely no one to talk to if you need help. I was stuck on the first floor for at least 20 or 30 minutes because the elevator wouldn’t open. I called maintenance but no one answered.

The property was nice and clean. I have no complaints about that. I was a little suprised that I had to have a background check to stay there especially afer booking through Expedia. But I suppose they do that all the time? I also had 2 authorizaions on my card after paying in full a month before.
