Good staff. The amenities were poor. The "gym" consisted of a stationary bike. That was it. The carpet in the hallways was stained. The security camera in the elevator was broken. It was repaired and is held in place by duct tape. The glass fire door in the hallway was broken. The broken glass is held in place by crime scene tape. The bed was not very comfortable. The pillows were very poor. Imagine a sack with four feathers in it. As soon as your head hits the pillow, the cushioning moves out of the way and your head is lying on the mattress. The air conditioning worked well, however, and the room was clean. Overall, not worth the price of the stay.

Very stained and dirty carpets. Front desk staff absent during supper hour. Waited 10 minutes for her to return. Came back later to ask a question. Waited 5 minutes while she was on the phone and finally gave up.

Sehr nette Rezeption! Gratis Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Wenn nichts frei ist, gibt es eine kostenpflichtige Tiefgarage. Sehr nah zum Park Sanssouci.

Excellent choice, convenient location
Excellent choice, convenient location, nice neighborhood, within walking distance of "Park Sanssouci" and bus/tram stop right in front (to reach all of Potsdam) and also close to regional train station (3 min walk), so downtown Berlin is only a half hour train ride away. Popular, it seems, with business travelers as well as tourists. Hotel may be about 30 years old but is in good condition, well-maintained, good service, except dinner choices at on-site restaurant are limited (may be better again in near future). Breakfast, however, is outstanding!

No information about how to get to it - it has a direct link to Schoenefeld from Potsdam Sanssouci - quite a big selling point. restaurant staff .....not so helpful Reception staff ......they helped us out a lot Bar....there isn't one, so you sit in the lounge for beers. So easy to install a bar

Room was fine though the lack of easily accessible wall outlets made device charging a challenge. Parking was a disaster, learned at check out that we had to pay 8€ for one night of parking, there is no other parking. Parking garage is very small & was flooded — 2” of water pooled on the ground. Restaurant was closed, though could have bought breakfast. Found a pink ear plug under the bed if anyone is missing one.

Great stay
Very convenient to Park Sanssouci train stop if arriving with luggage. It is a 10 min walk to the New Palace and 30 min walk through the park to Sanssouci Palace. We stayed 1 night and found the hotel clean and comfortable. We would stay here again if in Potsdam again.

Good Location
The hotel is located close to the Sansoussi Park. Bus stop is In front of the hotel or 200m away at the train station. The hotel Is in a quiet location. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. The front desk agent I dealt with when I checked in early was very professional, he advised me of the bus schedule, places to go etc. Would like to return to this hotel if I ever return tp Potsdam.

European flavor in the perfect location.
The staff was very engaging and helpful. The location is perfect if you want to take in the beautiful and amazing Sanssouci Park with plenty of places to walk and beautiful palaces to explore. The Wyndam has a very European flavor/style. The breakfast included everything you could want from yougurt and fresh fruit to bacon and eggs or cheese and fresh breads. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It is also only a short walk to the train station which was ideal for us to catch our train to Berlin.

Our stay at the hotel was a very pleasant experience. The Windom Hotel is on the fringes of Potsdam which limits dining opportunities, however we were close to several means of Public transportation. The bus stop was just outside the front door and the train and tram were within a 5 min walk. The hotel has a limited number of free parking outdoors and has parking under the hotel at 8 euros per night. Parking all over Potsdam is a problem and public transportation was inexpensive and for most of our sightseeing trips serve us well. We ate breakfast at the hotel and it consisted of both American and European style meals. The hotel staff was very accommodating and communication in English was not a problem. The rooms were clean, quiet, modern and comfortable. If you don't want or need to be in the middle of the metro area this hotel is reasonable and nice alternative.

Comfortable hotel very near to Park Sanssouci
A comfortable and quiet hotel within walking distance of Park Sanssouci and the train station of the same name from where you can get the train into Potsdam centre. Bus stop also just outside and day ticket to cover trams, trains and buses is available from hotel reception for EUR 4,00. Hotel has limited free outside parking, which was nearly always full when we returned in the evening. Parking in their underground car park costs EUR 8,00 per night, but you can usually park just round the corner on the road free of charge. Breakfast is excellent value. Hotel staff friendly and helpful and speak English.

This hotel is in a great position to visit the San Souci Palace and very close to the train station for Berlin. There are very few restaurants in this area but that doesn't matter because the hotel restaurant is brilliant, couldn't fault it.

The hotel was easily accessible by short walk from Park Sanssouci Bhf. The room was relatively modern and comfortable, except for my 'single' room had a bed that was similar to the one I slept on as a small child. I guess this is a typical 'single' size in Germany (a double is often two of them pushed together, I think). The room had essentially no Wi-Fi signal (end of building) but there was a wired connection to a router. Internet access required a password that is mentioned nowhere until you try to connect, so ask when checking in. Once connected, the internet speeds were very high. Everything else was excellent, and I enjoyed a nice run through the nearby Sanssouci Park.

This was a great value for us. The location is fine if you have a car. There is free parking and free wifi. If you do not have a car it would be a long walk to town. It is located by some of the palace parks. The lady at he reception desk was very helpful and caring. The room was well portioned for a stay. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would stay here again. W e did not have the breakfast but did get ice from the bar.

Perfect for Sanssouci Pk. and transport to Potsdam
The Hotel is situated within 200m of the Sanssouci Railway station and therefore very convenient. It is also perfectly located to the Sanssouci Park and palaces. A bus stops right outside the hotel. The park is beautiful and my wife & I visited when the December snow was on the ground and the sun was shinning. Magnificent. The hotel staff at reception and in the bar and restraunt could not have been more pleasant. We visited Potsdam for the Christmas markets and was a far better location than staying in the town itself. We would certainly recomment everything about the hotel and location

A comfortable quiet room adjoining Sansoucci Park. We had a car so I can't comment on how convenient it would be without . There were two very small free parking areas but these were full when we arrived we were told we could park in the secure underground garage for free yet when we checked out we were charged 8 euro a nighOn the first night my husband had a very uncomfortable first hour trying to sleep on a hard bed until we discovered a door was just under the underway

A very nice slightly "old fashioned" hotel with door keys rather than cards, natural daylight to the corridors and breakfast included in room price. Wonderfully sited next door to the Sanssouci Park with extensive "free" parking. A delightful experience.

I stayed at the BW Parkhotel Potsdam during the first two weeks of June 2009. I had a single room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean and well maintained. The employees at the reception desk were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning and had lunch and dinner there several times. The food was delicious and the restaurant employees were efficient. I'll be returning to Berlin again this year, and I would like to stay there again.

Soweit ok, wenn man keine großen Anforderungen stellt. Das Hotel ist sauber, freundlich und zweckmäßig. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Das Frühstück bietet keine großen Delikatessen, ist aber lecker und reichlich. Der Park Sanssouci ist zu Fuß in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Fazit: Für Leute, die weniger im Hotel und mehr auf Ausflügen etc. unterwegs sind, ist das Hotel eine sehr gute Wahl.

Das Hotel liegt günstig am Bahnhof Park Sanssouci. Das Hotelpersonal war freundlich, reduzierte die Kommunikation allerdings auf das Nötigste. Positiv ist hier das Team der Küche zu erwähnen. Das Zimmer wirkte auf den ersten Blick sauber, unter dem Bettlaken versteckten sich noch ein paar Haare des letzten Gastes, im Schrank noch das verschimmelte Essen. Die Klimaanlage verdient den Namen nicht, es gab auch keinen Kühlschrank o.ä. - das Badezimmer hingegen war in Ordnung. Das Zimmer insgesamt wirkte, wie das gesamte Hotel, etwas in die Jahre gekommen und einigermaßen gepflegt. Positiv aufgefallen sind das Frühstücksbuffet, die Nähe zum ÖPNV und zum Neuen Palais / Universität. Parkplätze sind vorhanden, WiFi kostenlos nutzbar. Preis / Leistung war in Ordnung.
