I enjoyed my stay, staff was really nice, room was clean, well located next to the S-Bahn. The only point i would improved was the wifi, signal was bad from my room

AI Koenigshof is very conveniently located across from the Charlottenburg station and next to the Wilmersdorf U-bahn, providing easy travel access. The hotel is a moderately-priced older establishment with decent, comfortable facilities. It is not air-conditioned. The area immediately around the hotel contains many food and shopping options.

Great location and access to the S-train station. There are many food options around this hotel and nearby grocery stores. For those in need of a fast-food fix, there's a McDonald's and Burger King around the corner on a waling mall. A great experience overall!

I like the area of Charlottenburg but I would not visit Al Konigshof again. It was a budget hotel but only a soso budget hotel. No breakfast. Just very basic. Next visit I'll look for better. Staff OK. Definitely not exceptional.

Convenient to shopping, cafes and transport
This obviously popular German domestic hotel, typical in most respects, got better as they began to understand us. Good restaurants, pedestrianised shopping, and transport nearby, though we walked daily to Messe Nord!

A good choice if looking for a room on a budget
This hotel is excellently situated being right opposite the S Bahn and Regional Bahn and a very short walk to the U Bahn, Several bus routes stop nearby too. Check in was easy and a misunderstanding over whether our rooms were inclusive of breakfast or not was soon rectified. I travelled with a friend and we had two identical single rooms. The rooms were small but adequate. They were warm even though Berlin was in a cold snap and temperatures were never in a positive figure during our stay. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings and shower rooms were all in good order and very clean. The floors are serviced by a quirky lift that traverses the outside of the building and stops at half landings between floors. It worked well and never had to wait long for it. Breakfast consists of a cold buffet. The usual that you would expect, Nothing outstanding but adequate. On the whole the hotel represents excellent value. I have paid a lot more and received a lot less in other hotels in European capital cities, so I have to rate it highly and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a room in Berlin on a budget.

I booked a double bed room for 2 people, upon arrival I was made to pay for one extra person. Normally if you book a room for 2 you pay for the room. Bad style of the hotel and also greatly misleading.

A double bed, was just to singles pushed together with one single duvet. The towels were about as old as the decor, so 35 years plus. Filthy, smelly and aged. The towels can only be described to be as rough and cutting as glass. WiFi is non-existent, hotel service was okay, they even printed me a map, and then told me to walk the wrong way, on top of that the hotel is above a seedy table dancing bar, so when you go back to the hotel, you get these 'classy' women asking to come in. Never staying again. Breakfast was okay, if you like warm ham and cheese. The room looks nothing like the pictures, I suspect they use stock images. A rip off.

Close to train stations. Strip club next door. Cheap beers in "lobby" area. Would stay again with a friend. Would not stay with wife. Lots of things to do in the area or just jump on a train. Perfect for cheap place when going to Olympic stadium.

Cheap and convenient
Room was clean. Quite at night. Wifi worked. Room was small but I expected that in Europe. Next to metro station and when I departed, hotel staff called for my taxi which arrived in 3-5 minutes. Stairwell is very dark, esp at night. They have automated lights when you reach your floor but not in stairwell. So I had to use light from cell phone to see where I was stepping.

The best thing of the hotel is that it has the subway station just in front. Other things are just the minimum acceptable conditions with only the breakfast below the expectations.

It is exactly what you expect - cheap and adequate. If you're not looking for a romantic break and are on a budget, I'd recommend this hotel. Only issue was that night-time reception staff were a little rude. But if you are the sort of person for whom that would ruin your stay, you wouldn't like this hotel anyway.

Good hotel, conveniently located
This is a very convenient hotel across the street from the Charlottenburg S-Bahn. Hotel was clean. Bathroom looked new, room was fine. Breakfast was basic, but free. Elevator on lobby floor is helpful, but stops in between floors so you have to walk up or down. Very convenient to ICC Messe. Get off at Westkreuz, not Messe Sud, which is far away from the convention center. There is a very good Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant around the block across from the Asian food store.

Erstmal das positive...jeden tag zimmer Reinigung...kommt man zum richtigen Zeitpunkt und es sind die mädels an der Rezeption total freundlich ...negativ an der Rezeption...Kerle eher gelangweilt spielen lieber mit handy ... leider keine Parkplatze im hotel
