Great hotel! Just slightly far out
The hotel was great! Breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were very clean. Great location for the Zoo and Victory Tower, however the Brandenburg Gate is about a 45 minute walk away so if you are wanting to visit a lot of the tourist hot spots like Checkpoint Charlie, East Walk Gallery etc, I’d really recommend the hop-on hop-off bus tours! The hotel is on the noisier side as it’s on a relatively busy street but it didn’t dampen the holiday at all. The cleaning staff also seem to start promptly at 9am every morning so chances of a lie in aren’t very likely. Overall a great hotel!

Let me start off by saying I am well traveled. It’s really perplexing to me this hotel has 4 stars. Very dated decor, mediocre service, tub layout- I almost slipped and fell. I booked this hotel based on the reviews and the gym amenity. My trip started out on a bad note due to delayed flights and I arrived one day later than planned. When I arrived I was told that the reservation had been marked a “no show”, though I had messaged the day prior through the Expedia messaging service. I was warned I should’ve called directly, nevertheless they were able to restore the reservation. I was out quite a bit of money for the first night and I asked if there’s anything they could do, I was advised I had to contact Expedia for anything to be done. It was such a carefree, “sucks for you” attitude. I checked in and decided to go to my room since I was very tired, only to find out there’s no water or any mini bar in the room. You must go downstairs to purchase it, again not pleasant after a long trip. On Saturday night when I returned I asked for a late check out and was told promptly no, they had accommodated too many requests for late check outs, again “sucks for you” attitude. This request is normally honored by everyone I’ve asked, and I thought it would have given my difficulty in getting to Berlin. I will visit Berlin often, and desperately wanted to like this place so I could be comfortable with rebooking again. I will not consider this hotel in the future at all.

Great location to enjoy the Ku’Damm and easy walk to public transportation. For a cheaper breakfast alternative to the hotel, there is a great bakery right next door. Would definitely stay again.

A comfortable mid range hotel in a convenient location near the shopping and dining belt. However pls note that if you are looking to be within walking distance to the various historical landmarks or sites eg Brandenburg Gate and museums this is not for you as these are 15 mins away by taxi. Staff is professional and service is efficient without being over the top. Breakfast selection is pretty good by European standards.

Right next to the ZOO and within walking distance of city center (Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, Victory Column). Plenty of shopping and dining opportunities around, public transportation stops nearby. Breakfast area is kind of chaotic and buffet less than what I expected from IHG but still plenty of both sweet and salty options. Overall would definitely recommend!

The location of this hotel is ideal for walking to the shopping areas and being near the stops for the Hop-On Hop-Off Big Bus Tour. The staff were also friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The king-sized bed room on the 5th floor was also very clean and the linen was comfortable.

Noisy dog spoilt it.
Nice Hotel with friendly and warm reception staff. Breakfasts were good but stay was spoilt by orger noisy guests who had a dog in the adjacent room. I complai ed to the staff but nothing was done. This was meant to be a "Quiet Floor"

The room was dirty, bathroom shower tile grout never been clean , full of black Mold, old towels, no amenities coffee or tee in room, just poor management, I would not recommend this place to anyone

The hotel is well positioned close to shops and department stores. Within a short walk from KaDeWe and there’s an abundance of restaurants, coffee shops, pubs and bars. Transport is good and reliable. The hotel is clean, has very helpful staff, a lovely breakfast buffet, swimming pool and sauna and a gym. My room was very nice with a walk in shower and it was quiet facing to the rear of the property. I will certainly stay there again.

A warm welcome greeted us as we arrived at the Crowne Plaza. All the staff we encountered throughout our stay were friendly, polite and approachable. The facilities are clean and well maintained. We couldn’t have asked for a better location for accessing the delights of Berlin.
