This hotel is so stylish and CLEAN! I felt comfortable immediately. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. We would love to stay here again.

The staff was very helpful and attentive. The breakfast had many delicious options. One morning, when staff heard me wish my brother in law happy birthday, they brought us champagne and a special dessert for him.

Older hotel that’s been renovated Breakfast was wonderful My friend staying in another room had to move rooms 3x because things were not working and she had flood Love the champagne in lobby I could stay there all day and watch people Good location Elevator needs new system I took stairs during my visit besides when I had suitcase

The only problem with my stay was the soundproofing and the air conditioning. The room faced the Placa de Catalunya and the noise from this area is constant throughout day and night. Daytime you have tourists and traffic and and a Grand Piano for people to play and the night Road Sweepers clearing the area and the window double glazing let the sounds in. The air conditioning ( we like a cool room) day and night, but the setting can be lowered to suit (18 degrees) but after awhile especially during the night it automatically resets to 23 degrees . That said, we had a very very pleasant stay and the Skybar has spectacular views of the city. It’s fantastic for getting around as right from the front door there ar bikes to hire, metro station over the road and a fully manned Taxi rank 100 meters away

Location was phenomenal. Many attractions were within a 15 minute walk. Price was better than I could find for other hotels nearby. Rooftop bar was excellent for views of the city.

Staff at the reception when we arrive for check in was really not helpful. We kindly ask prior to arriving since we are coming from Canada overnight if we can access early check in. We were told it wasn't possible, which we can understand even if we are VIP member. We arrive at 9am but they only got are room ready at 3h30pm. After that we have two separate reservation because we had to extend one day and while checking in we ask to merge the two together. the next day we get disturb 3 times by the front desk to check out of our room. Also the bed and pillow are not comfortable. The shower pressure had some issues as well in the room. It was our second time staying at this hotel, last year we can and it was much better service.

Shame for the brand and the location of this hotel. Very dated. Room amenities almost zero. And on top they started refurbishing the hallway in the morning, with guests in the rooms and no prior notice

Amazing experience
We stayed here for 7 nights for our visit to Barcelona. The best perk of Iberostar is its location, being right by the plaza Catalunya and Gracia street, you are pretty much in walking distance of many tourist spots, shops, and restaurants. Also 24 bus is pretty much in standby in front of the hotel, and there are metro stations and other bus stops right by the hotel. Throughout our trip it was amazing how easily we could accesss the transportation and make easy stops at the hotel. The room is nice and roomy, with all the modern controls. Breakfast on 1st floor was pretty decent as well. Rooftop provides good view of the city and good bites and drinks. My only complaint is noise level from the street and the plaza during the day, but it gets quiet enough at night. A very strong recommend if visiting Barcelona.
