“Very impressed”

It is wonderful hotel with excellent service and the best breakfast buffet. It was comfortable and also near the river where you can travel on the boats. It also near someof the best shopping in Bangkok. It is best to travel by a taxi or the Sky Train if it available.

“Great hotel, great service, great location... Ill stay there again if ever back in Bangkok”

I enjoyed it greatly... for an extra bunch of dollars I upgraded my room into the Towers and it was like heaven. Great, big room with a fantastic view over the river... Lounge with free cocktails every evening, free laundry, etc. I really recommend this hotel!

Landury service was expensive. Shower water was not well regulated as to temperature. Tub was slippery.

“Wonderful location”

If you have just a short time to spend in Bangkok, the Royal Orchid is an excellent choice for a hotel. All of the rooms have good views of the Chao Phraya River, a remarkably busy thoroughfare filled with exotic looking commercial watercraft. The river transit system has a stop less than 100 yards from the hotel - a great way to get to many of Bangkok's best tourist sites without fighting the horrible traffic. Hotel staff is very professional and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the river is hard to beat.

“Very nice hotel”

We were upgraded from a junior executive to an executive suite and so had fabulous views across the river. The decor is a tiny bit dated but that is my only criticism - this is a lovely hotel and the gym is excellent!

“Royal Orchid Sheraton Bangkok exceeds expectations”

The rate from Expedia was a steal and the hotel beyond my expectations. Luxury and perks. The only minor drawback, the hotel is a bit out of the way for walking around Bangkok's sites, but taxis are cheap compared to what we pay in Toronto.

“Very nice”

We thought it was a great place to stay. It was clean and classy. They have an americian buffet every morning, which was nice. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone!

“Great Location”

Located right on the Chao Praya river, provides quick and easy access to river taxies, and ferries. Right next door is River City, which has a number of restaruants to choose from if your not after 5 star restaruants. Good quality Hotel as you would expect from the Sheraton chain, good fitness facility overlooking a great pool for doing laps. Would go again if I can secure the right price. Staff were friendly, the hotel had a virtual golf facility where you can practice your game, that was a bonus for me.
