This hotel was dirty, run down. Bathtub cracked and rusty, black mold, shower curtain yellow from urine and bathroom smelled. Spider webs, dirty bed linen, breakfast substandard. Booked, pre-paid for 1 week but left after first night, no refund. Avoid this place.

This place is always great and is where I always stay while in Bangkok. Modern clean friendly I can’t say enough about the Golden Tulip. They always go out of their way to accommodate whether it’s early check-in or late checkouts. I will be back.

I love this place!!!! Super friendly, always clean and they are willing to work with you on check in and checking out. Modern establishment. It’s my go to every time I come to Bangkok. Been coming here for years.

Cheap but not really worth it.
First room we were given had broken air conditioning, the second had a leaking shower stall that flooded the bathroom each time you took a shower. The rubber shower mat had black mold growing on it. The sofa had water stains on the cushions, the curtains had stains on them, the video game console promised wasn't in the room and the headboard had children's scribbles on it.

Property is outdated and have this old musky smell. It is that old that I booked an executive room and after using toilet the door knob broke if it wasn’t for my wife I probably would have been stuck in there till room service would have turned up. Room wasn’t clean had marks on the window, bed was broken, bed sheet had stains & so did the wall. I wouldn’t recommend it

A nice hotel for the price
The hotel is located in a nice place, nearby to the main Sumkuvit road, metro station and there is free tuk tuk which is a time saver. The breakfast is quite good too. The only negative thing is about the room and corridors. I think you should make a renovation on walls, floor material and furniture. There is a bit disturbing smell which you have to used to. Anyway, we are still positive about the hotel for the price. Thanks

If you are traveling with your couple or your family I do NOT recommend this hotel. The rooms are all connected by doors so you can hear everything that's going on in the other rooms. There are a lot of guys that go to party to BKK staying there and you can hear music and other things in the rooms all night long! We slept for 3 hours! TERRIBLE experience!!!

Nice hotel
Rooms are spacious and the pool area was lovely too, I thought breakfast was excellent. Located at bottom of soi 20, away from main road with short walk to soi 22 where there are lots of restaurants. Room condition was only minor negative, but would stay there again as i thought it was good value.

I stayed several times at this property, the location is good, the value for money is OK. This time the check-in was perfectly friendly and quick. I got a good room on a high floor. The only bad thing about the room was that the madras in the bed really needed to be changed, it was like "falling down in a hole" when you lay down. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. A big disappointment was the service around the pool area before there were many options with different cocktails food offers and staff to serve you outside the restaurant. I like to enjoy some time at the pool area and to have a few drinks and some food there, but this seems not important to the hotel to offer this service. I will say the staff are very helpful and will bring you any order outside, but it is not the same as before!!!! So general hr impression, good and friendly staff but bad management. I enjoyed many stays there but will not choose this property in the future.

overall it is okay. it is hard to find the location by typing the name of the hotel, it redirected to the other hotel with name name. Quite good, wide space in a room, but not clean shower, and not working hair dryer was annoying part. Staffs there were nice.

I booked an Exclusive Suite with King bed and bath tub. The staff was arrange a first room without bath tub. Then I check with the staff and they change a small room with bathtub. However, my reservation should be Exclusive Suite and the area should be 480 m square with dinning area. Then I check with the staff again. I finally got a large room with bathtub. But still missing the dinning room. However, I don't want to argued with the staff again. When I stay in the room. The room was suck. The shower curtain was very very dirty. I also found I lost an some stuff in the last room when I changing the room. So, I checked with the staff and they said the shower curtain was not able to change and they promise to ask staff to send back the missing stuff to my new room. However, I didn't get back my stuff (just for bathing) and no one mentioned to me again. I feel very. disppointed The room was old and the light source was weird. The room was dark at night and I can't even see the display on the air condition remote. The breakfast was suck and have no much choice The wifi was suck and always lost connection

Location is very good . Had a couple of issues this year someone had been smoking in the room before we checked in this happened last year as well and there was a delay with the book in we arrived at about 3 pm and they said we had to wait for another hour before we could get our room and they said i had booked a room with 2 single beds wich i hadn't let them i was not happy and they gave us a room straight away said it was a upgrade but im not sure i have been stayinb there for the last 5 years every year

This is our second time here and we thought that the property wasn't as good as the first time. The staff were good rooms was ok just thought the whole place was looking a bit tired. Free tuk tuk up to Asok BTS. Good variety of breakfast but felt the quality wasn't as good as the first time. Aircon works well and shower good. bed ok.
