Near hospital, near BTS Skytrain, near SukhumvitPosted 18-Feb-2014
I reserved for my wife's visa physical at Bumrungrad Hospital... The hospital entrance is across the street, only steps away. She got a free upgrade to a suite for her entire stay as well due to some miscommunications with Expedia... Woo hoo!

Older facility.Posted 7-Jan-2014
Pros: The staff was pleasant and accomodating.
Location: Location was ok. A short walk to a Main Street .
The rooms were older and needed updating. The back of the bathroom door was filthy with many handprints. The floors were swept each day but not thoroughly. N o currency exchange available at hotel.

OK hotel in a great price.Consider the location...Posted 15-Dec-2013
Pros: Cheap but good hotel Location was convenient: close to tube, restaurants, bars, shops etc. Room facilities were good
Cons: Pool and spa facilities are nothing special. Staff was not very helpful but overall OK. Hotel a bit old but very good for the money we paid
Location: Hotel was in an area known apparently for 'late' bars...but it was very safe and OK to walk around.Tube, bars, restaurants, cafe, markets, malls very close

Walk to American EmbassyPosted 8-Dec-2013
Excellent hotel within walking distance to American embassy if your not an obese human. I've stayed here a number of times when in need of American citizen services at the embassy, always excellent, clean, comfortable, up to date, etc. Breakfast is very good and a good variety. Staff always polite and attentive. Good variety of restaurants nearby again within easy walk.

Great locationPosted 5-Dec-2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is located on Soi 1 which is a short walk to the BTS station and only two stops on the train to the huge Siam shopping area. One or two more stops is the MBK. Across the street from the hotel is Bamrungrad, a world renown hospital. The staff was very friendly and attentive and spoke English quite well. The breakfast was delicious and offered local food including a variety of fresh fruit and western food including omlets. The room was large for an Asian hotel, the toilet sink and shower are in the same room. Bed was firmer than I like but there were four pillows and an iron and ironing board in the room. I had a little wifi issue that could have been on my end. Overall, it was a great experience, I would definitely stay again in my next trip to Bangkok.
