Great stay!
Loved the place! Very clean and modern. Couches and bed were very comfortable. Was a warm day though. Wish I had asked the hosts where their fans were the night before or how to operate the AC. I also didnt realize that the gondola next to the place was closed for the season. At least there was a bus stop scross the street.

Thank you for the nice review, Amber. The warm mid-April weather definitely took us by surprise! The other end of the gondola probably was not skiable because of it. …and it’s crazy that our condo got summertime warm without the heat on! We are glad you found the free buses and were otherwise able to enjoy your stay.

We had a great time! We spent the week skiing Beaver Creek, chilling and watching movies and just enjoying Colorado! The shuttle all around Avon and the gondola access so close by made our trip extra special. Comfortable, convenient, and just what we were looking for! Thanks for hosting us!

Doug and Angie thank you for welcoming us to stay at your property in Avon. It was a short stay but we found everything to be good. The kitchen seemed well stocked. The only thing I would suggest Doug and Angie to focus on in the future is more storage. I really didn’t see much storage there, if my husband and I had stayed there for a week instead of 2 days we would have had to live out of our suitcase which isn’t ideal. Perhaps a dresser only for guest use in the bedroom? The ski locker in the garage took some getting use to but once you figure it out it is all good. The gondola is like one minute away which is super awesome. Adding a bench into the ski locker room would be nice to have, but I’m sure that’s not within Doug and Angie’s control. We appreciated the amenities provided included bord games to play. Thank you Doug and Angie for a comfortable stay, I look forward to potentially returning next year!

We loved staying here. It was right next to the mountain, the hosts were amazing, and great at communicating. The space was so clean, nice, and comfortable. We were only able to stay one night, next time I will book longer. We loved it!

Couldn't have asked a better 3 night ski getaway for our family of 4! We stay at many vacation rentals and sometimes feel like second class citizens, but Doug and Angie go the extra mile to make you feel like you're home and most importantly - WELCOME. A basket of snacks, waters, upgraded soaps, and setting up the air mattress prior to arrival are just a few of the things that made this stay extra special. The unit was plenty comfortable for the 4 of us and the proximity to the Riverfront Gondola at Beaver Creek for skiing made it the perfect location! 5 * all the way!

This was an extremely clean place with lots of nice little amenities and a great kitchen. It’s a place I realistically could’ve stayed awake and been comfortable. You can walk everywhere from this location or take the local shuttle.

Property is in The Seasons, with shuttle stop just out front door to take you to BC to ski and all around Avon. Everything in Avon is accessible via walking. Property was exactly as described, and owners were quick to respond with answers to questions.

Unit was nice and as advertised. Owners were very responsive and accommodating. Downside was age and condition of the overall complex. It is 25 years dated and there were several complex cleaning issues that did not quickly get addressed (ie very poor condition/cleanliness of elevators)

Great stay, easy access to gondola
We had a good stay here and the property owners were very easy to communicate with. The check in process is a bit laborious - know that you need one code for garage, one for ski storage door, combo for ski locker, code to get in the outside door if not entering through the garage, code to take the elevator up to the condo floor, and code for the touch pad door entry to the unit. I wish I would have written these all in one place instead of having to scroll to all the different paragraphs to find them when our arms were all full. :) The condo was great, well maintained, well stocked and very clean and inviting. Had a few games on site which were a fun surprise. For skiing, it was a quick and easy walk to the Gondola and the ski lockers were a good size for our 4 sets of skis/poles. Enjoyed some local restaurants that were a short 5 minute walk from the unit. Was a brief stay for us, only 2 nights, so we didn't utilize all the amenities, but all that we needed was there and we would definitely recommend and stay at again.

Everything was incredible. Only 2-3 minute walk to Westin gondola. Place was perfect, clean and comfortable. All amenities and could not have asked for more! Really loved staying there and will again next time we go to Beaver Creek.

This was probably the cleanest VRBO I've ever stayed in. We loved the layout and the proximity to the gondola. Also, we didn't use the car the whole weekend because we were walking-distance to so many great restaurants. Highly recommend.

Very clean well stocked kitchen with cooking tools and the bathroom well appointed.We liked the under ground parking close to the elevator. I would highly recommend this unit for any trip to Beaver Creek.

Perfect location and great property
We stayed here to celebrate Christmas and ski. Had an issue at check-in re: cleaning the unit, but the owners were in communication and resolved it quickly. The unit is really spacious, updated, and super cute! The sofa bed is very comfortable and you could hear a pin drop at night - it was surprisingly quiet! Amazing location and would definitely stay here again! Loved it.

Best VRBO we've visited
From detailed communications and follow-ups with Doug & Angie to the cleanliness and remodeling done to the unit, our stay couldn't have been better. The location and its proximity to both the Riverfront Gondola and all the necessary shops in Avon was absolutely perfect. Sub-2 minute walk to the gondola, Ticino restaurant for great pizza, liquor store, bakery, etc....we only used our car on the days we drove to Vail. Very spacious unit with lots of upgrades and very well laid-out. For a 1BR, the living area is significantly larger than many 2+ BR units we've stayed in. You can tell the owners are detail-oriented as every light switch, remote control and shelf are labelled to make things easy to find and operate. Lots of extra towels, sheets, etc. and the wine fridge really helped to make room for food in the refrigerator. The extension of the kitchen counter to make an integrated table that seats six was great and a really smart use of space....tons of table space while taking up very little living space. We will 100% be back and HIGHLY recommend this unit - the pictures don't do it justice and the value is amazing. You get A LOT for the nightly rate.

Perfect location for skiing Beaver Creek and Vail.
The location of this property was perfect for skiing Beaver Creek and Vail. We were able to use the Weston gondola or the bus to Beaver Creek. The gondola was much closer than we expected. Very short walk to it. The bus to Vail was also right out the door too. I am not sure if the taco truck is always right outside but it made for a very quick and convenient meal that we brought back to our rental. We highly recommend this VRBO.

Honeymoon ski trip adventure
Honeymoon ski trip adventure The mountains were beautiful the skiing was wonderful we chose this for our honeymoon because we love to ski. The room was wonderful all the amenities that we needed were there. The only thing that was of a minor concern was that the bed was a Murphy bed and we did not know that it would’ve been nice to know that ahead of time.

This place has plenty of room in a great location. We loved having a kitchen and living room so close to the mountain. It was clean and tidy with everything you would need and exactly as it appears in the pictures with no unwanted surprises. Host were easy to communicate with and super accommodating.

FANTASTIC PROPERTY & OWNERS!
We just stayed a week in Doug & Angie's condo and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. Their condo was clean, well stocked, roomy and beautiful! The location was PERFECT with the "Skier Express" bus right outside which took us directly into the Village to ski each day. Check-in/out was easy and the covered parking onsite was nice. But more importantly, Doug and Angie were so welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to provide an air mattress so our son could have a separate bed and we didn't have to deal with the sofa bed each day (though the sofa would be great for a larger group). They provided recommendations on transportation and other activities in the area. All in all we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend both the condo and Doug & Angie!

Great place!
We only stayed one night but this place was on point! The place was very clean and I love what they did with the decor. The location makes walking to shops quick and easy. Doug and Angie were extremely responsive to all questions. An overall great experience!
