We have stayed here twice recently in the 2 bedroom apartment and it has been perfect for our family. The motel is a short drive from the shopping area and restaurants. It is walkable to the domain and we enjoyed a stroll around the gardens there. The motel is clean and has all the basic amenities required. We often stay in Ashburton when picking up and dropping off family at Christchurch airport as it is a much quieter spot to stay rather than Christchurch City.

We would stay again if it was just the one night and a roof over our heads but not for longer to stay to holiday. Everything was clean and tidy but it needs a new coat of paint and some TLC. Please dont' clean out the oven before people turn up. The smell lasted the whole time we were there and was awful. All ok for a stay over though.
