Had an issue with the toilet. Wouldn’t flush from the minute we got in the room. Had staff come and “fix” the issue. After they left toilet still wouldn’t flush. Major problem when you have multiple people in the room.

Stayed Thursday to Sunday. The pool was open when I first arrived, then closed Friday morning for the duration with no explanation. Window had a gaping hole that made the wind sound like a tornado. Bathroom fan/light sounded like a rave. In a nearly empty hotel they booked a big dog in the room directly below me on my last night and its owners left it alone for 7 hours as it barked through the night. This hotel has signs for no smoking/no vaping but yet its employees smoke outside your windows and your room then reeks like smoke. This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here. I was hoping the 2nd time would be better than the first…but I know now I’d be foolish to ever try it again. I wish there was a place to share photos…

Thank you for your comments so that we can look into them. The Pool is open at this time. We have designated a smoking area furture from any windows as we know the wind will carry the smoke. We are nearly done with the second floor renovation just 4 rooms left then on to first floor. We hope you will come and check out our improvments.

The property was nice. I have stayed at a Super 8 and it was terrible, nowhere near as nice as this. The rooms were clean and the staff was really nice. The only complaint would be the small pillows but still was no big deal. Would definitely stay there again.

The room itself was excellent. However, the tv didn't work, heater had to be turned to 84 to be halfway comfortable. 6:00 breakfast wasn't available until 6:45. Called desk and no answer. No employee on site until 6:45.

Had to be changed rooms 2 times due to under construction or wasn’t ready was treated horribly by the day person was told we would be refunded but ended up only being 10$ not 70 just was a terrible experience won’t stay there again

I have verified that the pool is set to 80 degrees and the temperature reading in the pool is at 79 degrees. The typical setting for an indoor pool is between 78-82 degrees. We will keep a watch on it to ensure that the pool is staying warm.

Careful booking triple room
Overall this hotel wasn't bad but the room we got was not the room we booked. Booked a room with three queen beds and even we checked in we were told that the triple rooms were double booked. Was then offered a room with a foldout couch which would have worked. Unfortunately when we got to the room it didn't have a couch. Then when I asked for the difference in cost back I was told they couldn't refund the difference.

Hello,I wanted to take a moment and apologize that we were overbooked on our triple rooms. Those are some of our most popular rooms and they go quickly. You don't ever see rooms with 3 Queen size beds in them. As for the room that you were switched to not having a couch I am not sure what happened there, but rest assured that I am looking into that issue. We have a couple rooms that have 2 beds plus the foldout couch. I'm checking to see if those were booked as well, but I wanted to take a moment and respond to your review as I value what our guests are telling us. Unfortunately, when it comes to giving you back the difference in the rooms, there is not a lot we can do since you booked online. When you go through a 3rd party and pay them directly, they provide the hotel a virtual card that pays for your room.

It was adequately clean, but dated. Toilet flapper needed replaced and ran every 29 minutes(I let them know). Looks like things are being repaired, so that’s good. Towels were small and getting threadbare. They need replacing for sure. Front desk was friendly. Didn’t eat breakfast. Pool looked goidy

I would have never stayed at this property if I had been told there was no elevator only stairs. The breakfast was a joke, nothing but cold cereal , one apple and coffee. The pancake machine was not working properly. Was too expensive for one night. If any one asks about the hotel I will be glad to tell them to go else where. Also they was a homeless man staying in the lobby, he was there all night and in to the next day. What great advertising for your company.

I am sorry our hotel only has two floors and no elevator. We do not advertize a elevator and if a guest calls and wants a first floor room we do our best to honor that request. Pancakes are an optional item that we do above the brand breakfast standard and I do appoligize it was not working the day of your stay. This has been resolved. We do from time to time get guest who prefer to sit in the lobby durring there stay for solcialiaztion. I am sorry this made you uncomfortable. We work hard to provide a clean hotel with friendly staff. I am sorry we failed you on the items you mentioned.

Friendly and hard working staff
Everyone there is friendly and professional. This was my 2nd time at this location and I will likely continue to come here when visiting Winfield, Ks. The only drawback was the tub drain was extremely slow, but I've concluded that as an industry standard since it has been my experience almost anywhere I've stayed.

Stayed in room with 3 double beds. Wonderful for families. Room was clean, staff was friendly, the only thing was our fridge wasn’t working properly, but that wasn’t a biggie for us. We just used ice to keep our stuff cold in cooler.

Compared to most super 8’s this one was nice. There were small things. Some leak stains on the ceiling, some lights didn’t work in my room & the pool was cold when told it was going to be warm. Other than that, the service was good. Would stay again.
