The Hotel is in a beautiful part of the world and the building is very nice, well fitted and comfortable. The rooms are very clean and well looked after.
We stayed in a junior suite which was great, however our teenage boys stayed in a standard room with a tiny window that only a 6 foot tall person could see out of, so was dark and claustrophobic.
We were half board; the breakfasts were pretty standard and what would be expected. We had a buffet dinner every night, so food was plentiful, but the dining experience felt like a canteen you would have a work; at best the food was just OK; the staff were pleasant and were very good at tiding your table as you went along. The dining was not 4 star.
There was no pool bar or waiter service, and the walk to the hotel bar was a long one, which when on holiday is a pain; I would expect waiter service in a 4 start hotel.
Despite advertising fast internet connection, there was very little to no connection at all; we complained everyday and got a shrug of the shoulders from the reception staff; this was extremely poor. The staff simply didn't care, and insisted that the WIFI was a free service and if it doesn't work, then unlucky!
Expedia needs to look into false advertising very closely as my decision to book here was influenced by this.
Overall we had a pleasant stay, but this is no 4 star hotel; If it was advertised as a 3 star, with no WIFI and considerably cheaper then our expectations would be lower and the review better
