The common areas are fine but the rooms and exterior/grounds are very tired and badly need to be updated. Perhaps the owners can't afford it - there were only 4 guests booked in on the night we stayed."

They are friendly, but you have to ask at least twice for everything. Just a few examples: - we asked three times for an ashtray - we asked three times for some towels - there was an event at the hotel so we were asked what we want for breakfast and on what time, because the restaurant was closed and breakfast was on the balcony.
