Never Again
The stay was awful. People partying all night and being loud. If I didn't already paid for the room we would have went further on to Hugo to find a room. The place smelled bad. I went to the store to buy air freshener. Plus the the owners liked to watch and record people from their window. We didn't even feel safe leaving our stuff in the room. So, we packed up every day.
Owners watching and either taking pictures or recording you arriving and leaving. Creepy/Stalker mode!!

There was nothing to like about this crappy motel. Filthy, in bad repair, roaches, someone's hair on the cigarette-burned bedspread... In the top three worst places I have ever stayed and I lived in India for a couple of years. I was taking my elderly father on a trip and he is handicapped. They had no handicap rooms or accommodations of any kind. Well, there was one decent thing; they had new and nice towels, even if I did have to get them myself.

What did I like????? Seriously, there NOTHING to like about this establishment. It was horrific....looked as though the grass around the property hadn't been mowed in months. The room was "straight" but did not feel nor smell clean. (glad I brought lysol and bedding) From the moment we walked in we felt as though there were bugs crawling on us. (I even left one on the bathroom floor so the "whoever" could see. Not to mention the "roamers" outside. And by roamers my husband would call them "lot lizards"....oh my, if we had only known. No way in H*** I would ever stay in this place alone. Or every again.....Lesson learned for sure...... Now the town itself is totally different.....WE LOVED EVERYTHING about this quaint little town. And the people we interacted with were so kind and friendly. This little town definitely could use a more "decent" hotel/motel run by people that actually care about the property. The choices of a place to stay are limited..

Cheap hotel in Antles
The pillows were small and uncomfortable. The TV did not work. There was not a blanket on the bed. Tried to call the office around 10pm and no answer and front door was locked.

Rooms are very dated but, the bed was clean and very comfortable. Need new pillows, more information when checking in (ice machine) no breakfast so where to go in town.

convenient location. cleaning staff efficient and friendly. room has tile floors with need for grout cleaning. found a few bugs, friends identified as "water roaches" linens were clean. not the hotel for fun, but adequate for a bare bones stay

Sportsman Inn. Cheap, but dirty
We stayed there to be closer to a volleyball tournament, but it was very dirty compared the last time I stayed there a couple years ago. It was cheap, but wasn't clean whatsoever. Spots all over the rugs and the bathroom was filthy.

It served it's purpose but the bed skirt had something brown all over it,a dead bug in the picture above the bed,bathtub stained,smelled like mildew BUT new paint on the walls since last year,great air conditioning, friendly service, close enough to Tuskahoma to stay the weekend every year,NO BEDBUGS ,I looked! You get what you pay for kwim? It's safe and gives you a place to sleep.

Property is very old and hasn't been well maintained. Furniture is OKs and stained by years old rough use. Wi-Fi is so em weak as to be unusable. Cheap, and you get what you pay for.

You get (less than) what you pay for
It’s an old building in need of some serious renovations. I honestly wasn’t comfortable sleeping here. Carpets are terribly stained. Walls are beat up and were splattered with random filth. Some electrical outlets didn’t work and some outlets are touching the mattress, which can’t be safe. Bed cover was stained. Hole in bathroom door was patched with masking tape. Trust me, your $50 is better spent on a nice dinner and a night of sleeping in the truck.

My daughter and I were doing a road trip together and we booked this place. The first room that we got smelled rather strong of cigarette smoke, so I went back to the front desk and asked for a different room. The next room that we got had two queen beds. We both slept in separate beds and the next morning we woke up, both of us discovered bite marks all over the front and back of our necks and on our arms. We discovered that we were bitten by bed bugs. Both of us suffered severe itching, along with marks on ourselves for over two days. Also, there was a hole in the bathroom ceiling, which made us feel uncomfortable.

There was mold in the bathroom, the room stank really bad, the chair that was by the table was broken, the window was just a board over it when the window did not lock, the board was a sliding board, above the shower the tiles where broken you could see through it.

The beds are extremely soft and there were three of us and they only gave is two towels. It was overbearingly hot outside and the air barely kept up. Our friend who traveled with us had to change rooms because his air didn't get below 80 degrees. He sat on a chair and it fell apart

A great place to stay.
We stayed at the Sportsman Inn for two nights while looking to buy land. The room was everything we needed, refrigerator, microwave and WiFi.

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED.
Room had multiple areas of disrepair. The bathroom door had a broken-in place and wouldn't close properly. The bathroom floor was wet from a constant leak from the toilet. The nightstand top drawer had someone's used "spitcup" in it. The overall feel of the room was "what else is not clean?" I truly wondered if the sheets had been changed due to what the rest of the room appeared like. I was so tired from our day's work at the festival that I didn't want to deal with moving to another room that might be just like what we had. I do not plan to stay at this location again. Especially when I found out there was a nice larger hotel just down the road...go figure. The staff was nice. Just spoke with one gentleman who checked us in. Staff was nice, the place was not.

When we arrived at the motel, it was decent looking from the front. Then when we drove around to our room, there was not parking close to our room and a lot of clutter. There was a BIG hole where the pool used to be and it was filled with dirt and trash. And our phone would not ring in our room. We had calls coming in that we never received. Overall, we were not happy with the room or the motel and will not be staying there again.

Unpleasant!
We were apprehensive staying in the area. The facility catered to mostly working men it seemed. We would not stay there again. It was out of the way and in a part of town where we were not comfortable. We didn't sleep well as the lock on the door seemed to not work properly. The amenities were almost non-existant. Will definitely mark this one off our list. The rates were fair.

Pretty run down. Basically clean. Breakfast was very sparse. Had to ask for enough towels for 3 people. Not too bad for the price.

The staff was friendly, but the mattresses were covered in unIdentifiable stains, cockroach on the wall, odd stains on the sheets: our room really didn't look anything like pics on the website. Also, the "free breakfast" consisted of 2 almost empty Tupperware containers of Cheerios and cocoa puffs, an aged banana, a gallon of milk and a basket of oatmeal creme pies (which wasnt a huge deal, but just FYI it was very minimalistic).

good price for the rioom
It was OK.. Didn't stay in room that much.. hot summer, and the air worked well, the sheets were clean, had a refrigerator, microwave and small coffee maker.. which was good.. but could hear through all the walls, TVs and peoples conversations and personal private "games". The location is between 2 highways and was convenient.. but no water in the pool.. It's under new management and hopefully they will upgrade it and paint the pool and put water in it.. this month is June 2012. The staff was nice.
