Although check - in desk was often unmanned, once on the scene the staff were very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here as it was in an excellent location both for food options and for buses. Note: not understanding Korean was a handicap in deciphering bus schedules resulting in us often having to resort to taxis, at least in one direction!

We booked the larger suite room but didn't realise it was on 2F floor only. If we'd known that we'd probably have booked a standard double. However, the room was clean and large. Couch and big TV. Window opens for fresh air with fly screen. Our toilet did clog up but they sorted it out whilst we were out. I think it's the toilet paper they use. They ought to change to thinner paper that dissolves easier. It's quite central for public transport like buses and taxis. Lots of markets with walking distance and lots of local restaurants to eat at. My favourite was a pork kalbi one around the corner for 18000 KRW per person. Took bus to 600 AD temple and longest wooden bridge. Bus also to Hahoe Folk Village. I would probably stay there again but choose a standard cheaper room higher up. 2F was to low and could hear cars and drivers in the parking courtyard inside the hotel.

Good location
Great location..very near the bus stop to go to all tourist attractions. Very good bed. Free toiletries. Kettle in the room. But...i couldn't see where to plug in the kettle so I had to put it on the floor. Good shower, but a constant pool of water round the drain. And it was very hot in the room and i couldn't turn it down. There was a coffee machine downstairs, but every setting produced the same warm brown liquid. Overall fine, but not a place to relax in.

Good place to stay
This is a good hotel to stay at in Andong. It’s basically in the city center, near the bus stop, and you have access to all the restaurants and services you need.

The hotel and staff are great. Location is perfect. It was very clean! The only reason I didn't give it a better rating is because the bed, while it was big, was extremely uncomfortable. It was harder than the floor, if that is possible!

Check in was quick. Rooms very comfortable, beds are hard, but we like hard beds. Nice little hotel in the heart of Andong.

Language a slight barrier but overall check in and out easy, room huge, clean and comfortable if a little dated. Great location close to station and main street for restaurants and shops.

Straightforward, decent hotel in a great location for access to major sites and to the subway and bus lines. Rooms a bit on the small side and could do with more hanging and storage space, but otherwise all good. The coin laundry facilities were very useful too.

It's not outstanding in any way but perfectly fine
We stayed here for one night and it was perfectly adequate for our needs. Bed was quite comfy for Korean standards (still quite firm but not as hard as some other places), no problem with parking under the hotel, convenient location close to restaurants. Our only problem was breakfast - the hotel doesn't serve it, and nearby were mostly brunch/lunch places (proper breakfast doesn't seem to be a thing in Korea...). There was tea/coffee machine in the lobby, and microwave too. Air-con worked well, nice big bath, no-fuss early check-in. Overall, good base.

Felt like we had stepped into wonderland!
The photos had looked lovely for this hotel, but did not prepare us for what we received! This hotel is definitely undercharging! We only stayed one night which was our biggest regret. The beds were very comfortable and the decorations exquisite. Parking is available. The people were friendly and very helpful. We arrived after dark, which made finding the hotel a little challenging.

The hotel is located in a walking distance from the train station and the walking street with some restaurants and markets. A big supermarket is very close, too. The hotel is meant to be a "Motel" but many guests stay as a regular visit. Freshly brewed coffee and a microwave is located in the lobby at all times. The rooms are quite spacey and our bathroom came with a tub. There is a PC and a big TV screen in the room ans well as a water machine. Free juice is in a small fridge.

The "love hotel" ads outside were funny, but inside the hotel is perfectly normal. Our room was large with plenty of space for our party of 2 adults and 1 teen. Bathroom was huge. Beds are hard as rock, but linens were nice. Location was very convenient for catching #46 bus to Hahoe Folk Village. Also it's in the midst of plenty of restaurants and shops while being quiet and peaceful inside. We arrived at the main bus terminal and had to take a taxi to the hotel. Recommend bringing name and address in Korean or having the route mapped on your phone as taxi drivers speak no English.

This place was a dump! Beware.
This place looked nothing like the pictures; I wish I had taken pictures. It looked like a "love motel", with red lights in the ceiling, caked on green paint, a cheap plastic floor with warped floorboards, a bed as hard as cement, no towels in the bathroom except hand towels, a used tube of toothpaste and used bars of soap in the bathroom, the shower was filthy and fixtures rusty. Hallway was dingy and run down. The man at the front desk didn't speak any English. I want my money back.

Close to railway station.
Really enjoyed our stay at this small centrally located hotel. Only five minutes' walk from the railway station. We had a massive room with an equally large bathroom. Tea/coffee facilities provided in our room. Breakfast was not available at this hotel, but there are plenty of cafes in town.

This is a motel not a hotel
This is more of a motel rather than a hotel. When we arrived, there was only one man sitting behind a very small counter to check us in and his English was very limited. When we got to our rooms, there was only one towel in our room and there weren't any in our children's room so we had to wait for them to bring more up. What I found real odd is that they provided used toothpaste and hairbrushes in each room for guests to use. I think smart thing is that they don't provide them at all if they cannot afford to provide individually wrapped new toiletries. Although rooms were pretty clean, unfortunately I was already quite turned off by the used toiletries. Lastly, the beds were extremely hard.

Superb accomodation for a 3-star hotel
We booked a twin room, with 1 queen-size bed & a single bed. Room & bath room are spacious!! Bathroom is equiped with a BIG bathtub (unusually big for Korean hotels), rainfall shower & normal shower head!! There is PC and personal router in every room, so WIFI is no problem. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay & I would recommend to people going to Andong. Goryeo Hotel is a good starting point for going to Hahoe Village & other attractions.

Yes, this is a hotel for people to enjoy intimate moments. And much more. EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY CLEAN, really helpful and respectful staff, and right next to the bus stops to visit all temples and sightseeing spots in the area. Great experience!

Lovely hotel, nice staff. Unexpectedly the staff provided breakfast in the room on checkout day. Excellent rooms. 2 minutes from station and local buses. In a radius of 200 metres there are hundreds of restaurants, cafés and fashion shops. We stayed 8 nights and were very pleased. No hesitation in recommending.

This is not a hotel - it is a short stay motel where you traditionally pay by the hour. I would not advise anyone to stay in a place like this unless they are looking for just an hourly rate.

Eigentlich eine tolle Unterkunft - vor allem für den Preis. Allerdings waren wir uns nicht sicher, ob die Bettdecken wirklich nach jedem Gast gewaschen werden, weil wir im Treppenhaus gesehen haben, dass dort Decken ausgelüftet wurden. Wir hätten lieber Bettwäsche gehabt über den Decken.
