“Excellent!”
Lovely hotel. Close to everything. Would definitely recommend it.
“Nice spot in a great location”
We stayed here 3 nights. Only downside is lack of a hotel restaurant. There is a good breakfast, and some snacks in the bar, but that's it. My husband uses a mobility cart and the hotel was very well suited for him. Easy front door access - no stairs - ramp into the lobby - good elevators. Bell desk people are fantastic. Front desk, kind of icy. When you go outside, turn left. Turning right leads to some dicey areas...
“Would book this one again!”
A great part of our satisfaction was the front desk. All personnel were very helpful and friendly. We saw and did a lot of things in Amsterdam during our stay thanks to them. They also have free email which was a huge advantage. The hotel is in a prime location and has access to all forms of public transportation.
“hotel was not meeting expectations. will probably not go back.”
unimpressed............;
“Great location and helpful staff”
Our family stayed in Amsterdam for two nights while we were in transit. we chose this hotel for the location - it's very close to the train station, but not so close that you're disturbed. The hotel's also very close to some of the main things that we wanted to visit, like Madame Tussaud's wax museum and Anne Frank's house. The staff were excellent - as we walked out of the train station, I realized that my phone (with the map to the hotel) was dead. I used my wife's phone to call the hotel, and they gave us directions to the hotel and made sure that we made it safely. The hotel value was excellent as well - we got our money's worth, that's for sure!
“The Convent Hotel Amsterdam excelent Hotel”

“Staying in Convent hotel Amsterdam”
I stayed in the Convent hotel for 2 nights. The hotel has a very good location. Close to the big grocery store and to a very nice shopping center. The room was very clean. Overall it was a nice staying. I would recommend this hotel to other travellers
“Charm, Comfort, and Convenience”
Our stay at The Convent Hotel Amsterdam-MGallery Collection for four days was an excellent experience. We were in a luxury room on the third floor serviced by an elevator exclusive to that wing of the building, so there was never a wait. The "ancient" building retained the charm of the old while providing every modern comfort. The very clean room was quite large by European standards with a spacious bath including an ultra-modern, huge shower. The bed was extremely comfortable with a selection of pillows; bathrobes and slippers were provided. Our room included a small refrigerator, electric kettle, and nespresso machine. Free wi-fi was included in the room rate. The staff were friendly and helpful from the front desk personnel, the concierge, and the bellmen to the breakfast room attendants. The buffet breakfast was included in our rate; the hot and cold offerings were plentiful and varied. If not included in the nightly rate, the buffet is pricey, but there are numerous places nearby with more moderate prices for breakfast. This hotel is conveniently located near the Royal Palace and Dam Square, but we experienced no problem with street noise. We walked everywhere to get on tours, find restaurants, and get to shopping areas. There are two convenience stores (one literally next door), grocery stores, and department stores nearby. For its charm, comfort, and convenience, we highly recommend this hotel. Next time in Amsterdam, we will stay here again!
“Wonderful hotel with a GREAT location!!!!!!”
My sister and I stayed at the Convent Hotel for our 3 night stay in Amsterdam. The location couldn't have been more convenient. Just a short walk from the train station and to many of the sites in the city. The room we had was small, but had wonderful comfy beds and was clean. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, We arrived around 9 in the morning and our room was ready for us to check in. The breakfast was nice but pricey, since we booked with expedia, breakfast was included in our price. I would definitely recommend this hotel and if I am every lucky enough to stay in Amsterdam again I would stay at the Convent.
