“Spot on”
Perfect basic Hotel. Very knowledgable and helpful staff. Right near loads of coffee shops and cafes, but not too noisy or busy outside
“Kelz”
Great location close to train station and alot of thing to do on strip. Great stay and good customer service....
“good location,would stay their again.”
the quentin arrive is in a fairly good location.the price is fairly good.some maintenance issues ,such as the paint was chiped on banisters, the window in my room had hole that was pachted with a plastic .
“definately would consider going back!”
an ideal place to stay if you just want to get your head down and explore during the day
“Clean and cheap, fantastic location”
The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the centre of Amsterdam but in a fairly quiet area; perfect location. The rooms are clean and basic but perfectly adequate. The only drawback is the stairs, our room was 4th floor with no lift. There is also a lack of extra facilities, the bathroom is shared and there is no restaurant but there are local places to eat.
“Very basic - but I couldn't fault it”
Let's make it perfectly clear - this is a one-star hotel and you only get what you pay for, so let's get the limitations out of the way first. To begin with, there is no elevator, and the rooms are over four storeys so this hotel is not suitable for anybody who is disabled, mobility impaired, or has trouble climbing stairs. Also, whilst a few of the approx 35 rooms are en-suite, most do not have their own facilities and you have to use a shared shower and toilet at the end of the corridor. There is no breakfast provided, no bar and no restaurant. The rooms are very basic - mine had just a single bed with a table and chair, closet and washbasin, with a small TV above the door (the TV has BBC 1 & 2 and CNN) Having said all that, if all you want is a bed for the night just five minutes walk from the central station this hotel is a little gem. The reception is manned 24 hours a day by helpful and friendly staff, and the reception area doubles as a coffee lounge during the day with free wi-fi for guests/customers. OK, the place could do with a lick of paint but the rooms, bedding and communal showers/toilets were spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is well run and despite its low grade it is a very safe environment. I spoke to several female guests who told me that unlike some low-budget places they had stayed they had had no issues or concerns whatsoever. So, if you want luxury this is not for you but for the price. I'll definitely be back!
“Basic, but does exactly what it says on the tin”
As other reviews have said, this is a 1 star hotel so the rooms you get are basic - We had an economy twin room(shared facilities) which consisted of 2 beds, 2 chairs, a small table, 1 small wardrobe with a TV ontop and a small washbasin. Unfortunately we were on the 4th floor, and the stairs are vicious! (No Lift). Having said that, the rooms were very clean, and the shared facilities were spotless. The staff were very cheerful and friendly and were happy to give us directions to where we wanted to go and how to get there. The downstairs reception is very nice and has free wifi for guests. If you are just looking for somewhere cheap to crash, its perfect. Speaking of price, a lot of hotels in Amsterdam charge a city/local tax, but we were not charged any extra - give expedia a call and get them to check like I did :) Location wise the Quentin Arrive is excellent. It is slap bang in the middle of a load of coffeeshops(if thats your thing), 5 min walk from Central Station, 10min walk from Dam Square, 10min walk to the Red Light District and about 25min walk(or 5min tram ride) from Liedse Square.
“Cheap and Cheerfull”
The hotel is very close to Amsterdam Central train station and close to the city centre it is also quite cheap. However the hotel does not serve breakfast and it's facilities are quite bear. I had a single room and it was very small although it had a TV with english TV channels and it was clean. There was a shared bathroom and toilett, if all you need is somewhere to sleep and don't plan on staying in the hotel other than to sleep this is the place for you

Dam Square - Central Station, Amsterdam, Netherlands: The bustling heart of Amsterdam, this district attracts hordes of visitors teeming from Centraal Station to Dam Square and its beautiful Nieuwe Kerk (14th-century).
