“excellent location, value for money”

Visited for Xmas 2011, 5 nights. A 3.5 star hotel within an easy walk to Central station. Tram stop right outside. Decent breakfast for reasonable price. Beds were comfortable, clean. I felt front desk was a bit understaffed. Internet was iffy, but normal for hotels in general. Would use again next time, because of great location.

“one of the best hotel in dam square”

good location, great staff , room is clean and comfort , the only bad thing is some of the rooms you have to use two different elevator to reach them ( you have tho change elevator ).

“Great Hotel - highly recommended”

Hotels can be tricky in Amsterdam, and I've stayed in some stinkers. Luckily on my most recent trip I stayed at the Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Centre and it was a quality hotel that is near everything, including the train station and the nightlight. A ten minute walk and you are at the Anne Frank House and the Jordann neighborhoods. A 15 - 20 minute walk and you are at the Van Gogh and other great museums. The rooms are modern, the staff friendly (and they speak great English). The option breakfast is worth it, with eggs, bacon, yummy breads and pastries as well as good cheese and other items. The food manager does a great job at this hotel. You'll find overall service in Amsterdam to be a tad lacking from what we are used to here in the US, however this hotel provides great service. I'll be booking this hotel again in the future.

“Great hotel and location”

I have been to Amsterdam a couple of times and this was my best trip yet. The hotel was better than I could have wished. The location is perfect!! Only a 2-3 minute walk to Red Light, and is in the heart of the city. The room was very comfortable and clean. I will be staying here again next time I visit.

“Not a 4 star hotel!”

I stayed in 3 different "4 star" hotels over the last week in Europe. This was the only one that truly didn't live up to American 4 star standards. This hotel was old, and the rooms were Motel 6 quality. Cheap tiny old towels, a tiny bathroom, one of those awful hair dryers from Europe in the 80's that looks like a vacuum hose, no robe, etc. This was just as expensive but not nearly as nice as the 4 star I stayed at in Paris - quite a disappointment!

“Fantastic!”

I loved the Inntel Hotel in City Centere. The location is perfect, staff friendly and attentive. I could not be happier with my stay here.

“Well located, small but clean and well amintained room”

Excellent location. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops in the neighbourhood, one step from the hotel. Tram to museums district is across the street. The rail central station 5 is a minutes walk. Room was clean, neat and well maintained but very small. Expensive as other similar category hotels in Amsterdam.

Getting around

Amsterdam is a city to walk. Very enjoyable by foot. Car not recommended.
